Matra Studio
Matra Studio turns music recordings into chord charts, notation and Sargam.
What Matra Studio is
Matra Studio turns music recordings into chord charts, notation and Sargam. You can upload MP3, WAV or M4A files, or record in iOS, with each recording limited to six minutes. After processing, review the generated chart, correct it and keep returning to it in your Library. Charts may show chords, key, meter, melody and a Sargam view, with confidence marks on chords. Matra identifies chords and key as its strongest outputs; staff notation remains in beta and can be imperfect. Exports include PDF, MusicXML, MIDI and text chord sheets, plus private read-only links. Sargam is aimed at singers, harmonium players and people learning through Sa Re Ga Ma. The service runs on web and iOS. Early access is invite-only, with fair use of about 20 recordings daily. Plans include free access, one-time purchases and monthly options.
