What MailZyro is

MailZyro is a web email service with a browser extension, an inbox, and end-to-end encryption for messages between its users. The browser applies OpenPGP encryption before those messages reach the server, which stores ciphertext. MailZyro says it encrypts incoming external email on receipt, though plaintext is briefly held in server memory during that process. Inbox tools include folders, labels, templates, tabs, snooze, undo send, and filter rules; the free plan does not include filters. Search runs locally in the browser using an encrypted index. Optional AI tools can draft or reply to messages, change tone, summarize threads, suggest subjects, and check grammar; encrypted PGP messages are not sent to the AI provider. Outlook, Thunderbird, and Apple Mail can connect through Zyro Bridge, which provides SMTP and IMAP locally. Paid plans support custom domains. MailZyro retains sender and recipient addresses and timestamps, and subjects on external email remain plaintext metadata. Its free plan includes one mailbox, 1 GB storage, and one address.
