LinkedDataHub
LinkedDataHub is an open-source, low-code platform for managing data, making visualizations and building apps with RDF knowledge graphs.
What LinkedDataHub is
LinkedDataHub is an open-source, low-code platform for managing data, making visualizations and building apps with RDF knowledge graphs. It can also serve as an RDF-native content platform. Its tools include a UI component library, SPARQL-based templates for creating and editing data, and SPIN and SHACL constraints for checking incoming data. Imports support CSV mapped to RDF and RDF transformed through SPARQL CONSTRUCT. Authentication offers WebID and OpenID Connect with Google and ORCID; WAC controls access for reading, writing, appending and administration. Git-backed document history is accessible through Memento. The platform includes a SPARQL endpoint and a read-write Linked Data API, and can serve documents as HTML or RDF at the same URI. It uses Apache Jena Fuseki by default, but can work with compatible SPARQL 1.1 triplestores. The documented local setup uses Docker Compose, with RDF stored in backend triplestores. The project is available under the Apache 2.0 license and is self-hosted.
Good
- Supports CSV and RDF imports
- Offers SPARQL endpoint and read-write Linked Data API
- Documents can be served as HTML or RDF
- Git-backed version history uses Memento
Watch out
- Requires a self-hosted setup
- Current supported imports are limited to CSV and RDF
- Local setup uses Docker Compose
Who it suits
LinkedDataHub may suit researchers, data scientists, developers and data publishers working with RDF, as well as builders of AI agents. It is for users prepared to run a self-hosted setup and work with SPARQL-compatible data stores.
Verdict
LinkedDataHub combines RDF data management, app-building tools and APIs in a self-hosted platform. It is most relevant to teams comfortable with RDF and SPARQL 1.1 workflows.
