Kordra Capture
Kordra Capture is a free native iPhone app for saving songwriting ideas before they slip away.
What Kordra Capture is
Kordra Capture is a free native iPhone app for saving songwriting ideas before they slip away. Jot down lyrics, chord changes, or a few words without first assigning a title, tempo, or structure; record a melody, rhythm, or riff and add another take. Related captures can be grouped in an ordered Song Seed. Optional details include titles, tags, type, section, mood, key, tempo, and chords. Text, recordings, and context are stored locally and remain available offline. You can search captures and recover recently deleted ideas on the iPhone for up to 30 days. Export is selective: iOS sends chosen text and audio to destinations such as Files, AirDrop, or another app, while the original stays on the phone. Kordra says the app needs no account and uses no cloud storage, ads, or analytics SDKs. Capture can prepare ideas for Kordra Studio, a separately sold Mac app, but Studio is not needed to keep, search, or export captures.
