What Boomy is
Boomy is a web-based service for creating and publishing original songs with proprietary generative music technology. Its AI and music automation create a starting point that users can personalize with editing tools. Boomy describes the service as suitable for people new to music-making as well as aspiring artists. Vocal generation and audio upload are listed capabilities. The Free plan costs nothing and allows 25 song saves, but has no downloads or commercial use. Creator costs $9.99 a month and includes 500 song saves, five releases per month, and 10 MP3 downloads per month. Pro costs $29.99 a month and includes unlimited song saves, 10 releases per month, and 25 MP3 and WAV downloads per month. Boomy says Creator and Pro members receive full commercial rights on downloaded songs and can use a distributor of their choice. Boomy's own distribution is limited to select users, and distribution of users' uploaded music is also limited to select artist partners. The maker was founded in 2019.
