Kiwi Syslog Server is on-premises software for collecting and managing syslog messages, SNMP traps, and Windows event logs in a central console. It can filter messages by hostname, IP address, priority, time, source, and text, then trigger email alerts, scripts, forwarding, or logging to files and ODBC databases. Its scheduler can archive and clean up logs, including compression, encryption, moving, renaming, and deletion. SolarWinds lists integrations such as Loggly, Network Performance Monitor, Papertrail, Security Event Manager, and Splunk. The product supports live log tailing and archive export. SolarWinds says it can handle up to two million syslog messages per hour; Kiwi Syslog Server NG also supports secure TCP syslog with TLS and certificate-based server authentication. The free edition is marked temporarily unavailable and “Coming Soon,” despite a listed free plan limited to five network devices, a 500 message buffer, and 10 display windows. The Licensed Edition is listed at $999, paid once, with no monthly fees, unlimited network devices, a 500,000 message buffer, and 25 display windows. The trial is fully functional for 14 days and requires no credit card.
