Hypar
Hypar is space-planning software for architects and engineers testing layouts against a client's program and site.
What Hypar is
Hypar is space-planning software for architects and engineers testing layouts against a client's program and site. Users plan spaces in 3D and track live net and gross areas, counts, and progress against targets. Project inputs can include programs from spreadsheets or dRofus and site underlays such as DXF or DWG files, images, PDFs, or laser scans. Hypar exports to PDF, image, Excel, Revit, and Rhino. Teammates can edit a project together in real time, and a Revit add-in supports Revit 2020 through 2027 and is included with free accounts. AI can suggest furniture and equipment; beta chat can create space programs, count elements, produce analytical views, and edit models, though whole-plan layout is rated low proficiency. The free Personal plan permits three owned projects and is for evaluation and learning, not professional design-project work. Professional costs $100 a month per user when billed monthly or 1000 USD per year per user when billed annually.
