Hortus Plan is browser-based garden design software for drawing boundaries, placing items, viewing layouts in 3D, and receiving AI design advice. Polygon tools let you trace boundaries, set wall lengths numerically, reshape corners, and place gates, doors, and taps. The library has more than 70 items, including trees, shrubs, hedges, raised beds, sheds, pergolas, furniture, and water features. A 25 cm snap grid, ruler, unlimited undo, and live area, perimeter, and weight figures support precise layouts. Its 3D view includes PBR lighting, shadows, a time-of-day sun slider, and touch orbit, pan, and zoom. Plans and boundary templates can be saved, then exported as formatted PDFs or four-sheet Excel workbooks with item lists, quantities, and area calculations. The AI assistant suggests layouts, recommends plants, advises on style, and critiques designs using dimensions and layout. Standard costs £49.99 a year; Pro costs £59.99 a year.
