What Homeroomie is

Homeroomie is a web-based tool for teachers that generates classroom lesson plans and matching student worksheets. It serves early elementary through middle school in ELA, math, science, and social studies, with lessons aligned to Common Core or supported state standards selected by state, grade, and subject. Plans include objectives, timed activities, materials, assessment ideas, and differentiation strategies. Worksheets can provide reading comprehension, vocabulary and writing exercises, and drawing prompts, with answer keys. Teachers can add a children’s book or choose a theme, then edit activities, pacing, and objectives. The Pro unit planner lays out daily objectives and activities across one to four weeks, with an option to expand a day into a full lesson. Pro also includes an emergency sub plan generator for half-day or full-day packets. Lesson plans and worksheets can be downloaded as PDFs. The Free plan provides three lesson plans per month and three worksheets per lesson, but does not include the unit planner or sub plan generator. Pro costs $9 per month, with the first month free.
