What HireUp is

HireUp is an employee referral platform for engaging employees, generating candidates, and capturing insights to grow referral culture. Its Filo chatbot lets employees describe someone they know and automatically finds suitable company jobs to refer them to. Organizations can brand referral campaigns, target audiences of different sizes, and promote campaigns by email, text message, and app notification. HireUp describes its experience as mobile-first and offers iOS and Android apps as well as web access.

Employees receive automatic updates on referral status. Campaign analytics include real-time progress tracking and a KPI report after each campaign, while automated payment tracking notifies payroll about outstanding referral rewards. HireUp says it can connect to an applicant tracking system or be used without one. The company states that it adheres to GDPR and names CCPA and CPRA data compliance; it says application data at rest uses AES-256 encryption and data in transit uses TLS. It also reports regular infrastructure vulnerability scans and annual third-party penetration testing. All listed plans include help desk and customer support; Growth and Enterprise also include a dedicated customer success manager. Launch costs $899 a month, and Growth costs $1,499 a month, billed as a Single Annual Price.
