GridPoint Intelligence is an energy management platform for commercial customers managing energy use across buildings. It connects with existing building assets to provide metering, asset monitoring, remote controls, and energy optimization. The platform interprets building data and automates operations, while identifying anomalies and inefficiencies and recommending equipment-performance actions. For HVAC, it monitors units, helps diagnose issues remotely, prioritizes them by severity, and supports repair validation. HVAC automation can use schedules based on time of use, operating hours, occupancy, sensors, and daylight. GridPoint says its demand response technology is OpenADR certified and works with other protocols. Its energy manager mobile app provides energy-use feedback, asset monitoring, reports, and alerts on Android and iOS; the service is also available on the web. Optional two-factor authentication is supported, and GridPoint’s knowledge base recommends enabling it. Packages may be out of the box or customized for a site. Pricing is on request, and GridPoint offers a 90-day pilot. The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
