What GridHanzi is

GridHanzi is a free web tool for turning English or Chinese word lists into printable Chinese character practice worksheets. Users can edit Hanzi, Pinyin, and meanings before printing, then choose Learn, Practice, or Test activities for tracing, handwriting, or recall. Worksheets use Tian Zi Ge or Mi Zi Ge grids, and editable topic and HSK templates cover subjects such as everyday vocabulary and writing basics. Separate HSK 2.0 and HSK 3.0 word lists are searchable by Hanzi, Pinyin, or English. A stroke-order tool lets users type or draw a character, view its stroke sequence, practise on screen, or add it to a worksheet. Spreadsheet rows can be pasted into the word-list box, with fields available to check or edit. Finished sheets can be printed or downloaded as PDFs, with A4, US Letter, and 3:4 Tablet-profile formats described. GridHanzi says users can create, edit, preview, download, and print without an account. The worksheet maker displays a 600-item word-list limit.
