What GreyMatter is

GreyMatter is GreyOrange’s fulfillment orchestration platform for coordinating warehouse processes and robotics. Its warehouse control system can manage both robotic and human agents, and one instance can coordinate goods-to-person, person-to-goods, and manual operations in a dark store. The platform covers inventory management, picking, putaway, audits, packing, replenishment, storage and retrieval, sorting, and order consolidation. It can bring orders together across picking areas and manage service-level agreements dynamically. Real-time analytics, dashboards, capacity management, order SLA insights, and inventory reports provide operational visibility. GreyOrange says its dark-store solution can run without a WMS or other third-party software. GreyMatter is hardware-agnostic and can coordinate Ranger robots and robots from other vendors. Its case-picking solution selects storage locations with a self-learning model and guides operators to the next task and location through a wearable app. APIs support partner integrations and require OAuth token-based authentication.
