What Grasple is
Grasple is a web platform for educators to find, adapt, create, and share open exercises and lessons, especially for mathematics and statistics. Students practice through interactive exercises and short lessons with immediate feedback. Teachers can edit existing materials or create their own; changes to another educator’s work are saved as a separate version. Its Computer Algebra System recognizes equivalent algebraic answers such as 2x and x+x. Learning Analytics dashboards show which concepts students are struggling with. Grasple supports LTI integration with major learning management systems and other LTI-compatible systems, plus SURFConext single sign-on for Dutch universities. The security policy describes encryption at rest and in transit and backups every 24 hours; an external auditor assessed its processor controls against the NOREA Privacy Control Framework. Grasple was founded in 2014 and is based in Amsterdam. The Open Teacher Account is free for up to 100 unique students. Full Teacher pricing is listed at €750 per teacher seat yearly.
