Goodnight Journal

What Goodnight Journal is

Goodnight Journal is an online journaling service and community for keeping private writing, sharing public entries, and connecting with other journal writers. Users can create unlimited private journals for free, and each entry defaults to private while allowing a public setting. Free members can read and like public journals, but writing public journals and commenting require membership. Free accounts can organize journals into up to 3 books; Member accounts can create up to 30. Prompts provide writing ideas through Happy and the journal page, and the Android and iOS apps offer automatic reminders. Paid members can download journal backups and use autosave drafts while writing. Goodnight Journal is available on the web, Android, and iOS. The Free plan costs nothing, while Member costs $5.99 a month, billed monthly. The paid plan also allows members to change journal dates and times. There is no free trial, and registration requires an email address. The site says Amazon Web Services technology protects private journals, while its privacy policy notes that absolute security cannot be guaranteed. The service is not intended for children under 13.
