What FocusLive is
FocusLive is a web-based Pomodoro timer for focused work, studying, and virtual coworking. It structures sessions with focus periods, short breaks, and long breaks, and includes custom timer settings, session history, and focus tracking. Listed uses include deep work, revision, reading, homework, and exam preparation. Virtual coworking does not require joining a video room, while an optional live map displays active FocusLive users around the world in real time. The core timer works without logging in; an account is needed for personalized or member-only features. Sign-in uses Google OAuth, and the privacy policy says Google account information is not displayed to other users. FocusLive says it collects timer session data, device and browser information, and anonymized usage analytics. For the Pro Global Focus Map, precise coordinates are collected only with browser permission and deleted within a few minutes. Its policy says personal data is not sold.
