Dot3D
Dot3D is professional 3D capture and scanning software for digitizing complex environments on mobile devices.
What Dot3D is
Dot3D is professional 3D capture and scanning software for digitizing complex environments on mobile devices. It supports large indoor and outdoor scans, loop closure, appending scenes and annotations during capture. Users can apply coded targets, survey control coordinates, distance constraints, wall-to-wall measurements and planarity constraints to scans. Dot3D Edit provides editing and processing without scanning, including cropping, measurement, annotation and export. The software supports Windows, Android and iOS. Prime works with Orbbec and RealSense depth cameras on Windows and Android, and with real-time RTK/GNSS hardware including Leica FLX100 plus, Emlid Reach RX/RX2 and Trimble DA2; its real-time RTK/GNSS feature requires iOS. Exports include DP, E57, LAS, LAZ, PTS, PTX, PLY, PTG, RCS and POD, with RCS and POD limited to Windows. Dot3D says created data stays on the local device unless explicitly sent to DotProduct. A seven-day all-access trial reverts to Free mode without automatic charge, but Free mode does not allow exports. Dot3D Pro costs $49 a month; Prime costs $139 a month; Edit costs $399 a year.
