Cofocus is a web app that pairs two people for 50-minute video sessions focused on mutual accountability. Users book a session on a calendar and receive a matched partner. They greet each other, share goals, work, and check in about the session when it ends; a bell and notification mark that point. The maker lists reading, writing, studying, PhD research, side projects, administration, planning, freelance work, and meditation as possible uses. Cofocus can synchronize bookings with Google Calendar by creating events and removing them when sessions are canceled. Its privacy policy says the app requests permission to view and edit calendar events and stores access and refresh tokens. The pricing page says subscriptions fund the service, which does not sell data or run ads. Starter is free and allows three sessions a week. Premium costs $4.99 a month for unlimited sessions, and a free trial is available. The app includes live coworking rooms, video presence, a focus timer, and accountability tools; rooms hold two users. Cofocus is made by ElysiumOne OÜ, a two-person team based in Tallinn, Estonia. Users must be at least 17, or older where local law requires it.
