What Clipbara is

Clipbara is a clipboard manager for macOS that keeps copied items in a searchable history. It captures text, rich text, HTML, images, links, files, and colors. Search can cover clip content, titles, or source apps, with filters by type or date. Pinboards organize reusable clips, and Quick Look previews items from the history panel. Selecting a clip restores it to the clipboard so it can be pasted into the active app. Capture, search, preview, and paste work offline, and the maker says history is stored locally with no account, server, or analytics. Users can exclude apps so their copied content is not recorded, and export or import clip histories as JSON. Builds are available through the Mac App Store, DMG, and Homebrew. The source is GPL-3.0, while the Mac App Store edition uses a separate proprietary license. The DMG and Homebrew build is free for macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Clipbara Lifetime costs $7.99, paid once, and the App Store in-app purchase listing includes a 7-day trial. The DMG build uses the network for Sparkle update checks.
