What Chuffed is

Chuffed is a web-based crowdfunding platform for socially conscious projects, serving individuals, not-for-profits, social enterprises, and community groups. Organizers can run crowdfunding campaigns, create peer-to-peer fundraiser pages and teams, add donation forms to websites, and offer regular or matched giving. Campaigners can connect Stripe, PayPal, or both to receive donations directly; Chuffed says they do not need to reach their goal before accessing funds. The service provides real-time donor data, on-demand reports, campaign updates, and email journeys for donor communications. Documented integrations include Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Facebook Pixel, and Action Network. Its free pricing models handle payment and platform fees differently: Shared Model has no default platform fee but campaigners pay 2–3% payment processing fees; Keep 100% Model puts card fees on donors; Flat Fee Model charges campaigners card fees of 2–3% plus a Chuffed platform fee. Donors may add an optional tip in the first two models. Chuffed was founded in 2013 and says campaigns must meet its Acceptable Use Policy.
