Brightpearl is a retail operating system for retailers and wholesalers, available through web, iOS, and API. Its Automation Engine lets businesses create rules for tasks such as picking, shipping, inventory allocation, order routing, and invoicing. When an order is placed, inventory updates across sales channels and locations. The integrated POS syncs sales, inventory, and customer information between online and offline channels; its iPad app also supports offline sales and synchronizes them after reconnecting. Brightpearl includes accounting or connections to external accounting software, plus analytics covering channels, products, customers, revenue, average order value, and customer lifetime value. It supports multiple warehouses, returns workflows, shipment handoff, and connections across e-commerce, marketplaces, fulfillment, payments, and warehouse management, with examples including Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon, and eBay.
