What Basstab Pro is
Basstab Pro separates bass audio from songs and generates bass tablature for practice. Its pitch detection and post-processing are designed to follow plucked notes, including ghost notes and fast runs. The desktop app runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux and works offline after first-run setup; account and cloud features still require a connection. An unlocked desktop song supports playback, looping, tab editing, spot re-analysis, a mixer, tuner, scale browser, and AI insights. The web app provides a free, permanent read-only tab preview, while playback and editing are desktop-only. Each Credit costs 2.00 USD once and unlocks one song permanently, with no subscription; it covers desktop editing and advanced tools or a web PDF download. Cloud files must be no larger than 500 MB and should be no longer than 20 minutes. Desktop audio is processed locally, while web uploads are processed privately and deleted after analysis. Generated transcriptions and AI responses may contain errors.
