AWS Entity Resolution
AWS Entity Resolution matches and links related customer, product, business, or healthcare records across applications, channels, and data stores.
What AWS Entity Resolution is
AWS Entity Resolution matches and links related customer, product, business, or healthcare records across applications, channels, and data stores. It offers rule-based, machine-learning, and data service provider matching. Rule-based users can adjust input fields, priorities, and rule sets. A preconfigured machine-learning model compares consumer records using fields such as name, email, phone, address, and date of birth, then assigns match groups confidence scores from 0.0 to 1.0. Input data comes from AWS Glue, with a maximum of 20 inputs. Rule-based matching can process new Amazon S3 data incrementally. The GetMatchId API synchronously retrieves an existing match ID from entity fields and hashes personally identifiable information attributes. The service is accessible through its console and API. Personally identifiable data is encrypted at rest by default with AWS-owned keys; customer-managed symmetric AWS KMS keys are also supported. Related services include Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS CloudTrail, CloudFormation, and AWS Clean Rooms. Provider matching supports LiveRamp, TransUnion, and Unified ID 2.0 identifiers, but requires a provider license agreement. AWS says the Free Tier is unavailable. Its listed provider-matching plans require an additional provider subscription cost.
