What AfterGather is

AfterGather is a web workspace for photographers to deliver client galleries and collect guest photos. Session projects provide password-gated proofing with favourites, edit requests, and role-based downloads. Event projects accept QR-driven guest uploads, comments, and reactions, with approved media available for projector display. Guests can upload through a browser without an app or account. Projects can use public, unlisted, QR or link, password, invite-only, or signed-in access. A venue slideshow can rotate automatically, be paused remotely, use optional approval, and refresh after connection dropouts. The Free plan costs nothing and includes two active projects, 5 GB pooled storage, Session and Event modes, a live slideshow, branded pages, and separate approval queues. The first project has a 30-day storage term. Other listed terms start at 180 or 365 days, followed by a 14-day grace period, an archive period, and eventual deletion. AfterGather retains HEIC and HEIF originals and provides 720p video previews. File caps can be configured up to 200 MB per photo and 2 GB per video.
