Xiaomi has revealed its flagship-level Xiaomi 13 series, with the Xiaomi 13 Pro heading to India, following a number of leaks and rumours. The smartphones in this series include the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite. With features like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 120W fast charging capability, the flagship Xiaomi 13 series made its debut in China late last year.
Xiaomi 13 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1900 nits, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. In terms of camera, the phone sports a triple rear camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with the Leica Floating Lens element and a macro mode. On the front, the Xiaomi 13 Pro gets a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity wise, the Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G support, Wi-Fi 7 capability, Bluetooth 5.3, Dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, NFC, and more. It runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, and houses a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 13 packs a 6.36-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1900 nits peak brightness. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. In terms of photography, the Xiaomi 13 gets a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Like the Pro model, the Xiaomi 13 also gets the Leica treatment including the iconic color science and filters. The handset also comes with a 32MP front camera that handles selfies and video calls.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Handling the photography chops, the Xiaomi 13 Lite has a triple rear camera setup with 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a dual camera on the front including a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary lens with dual front LED flash for selfies. The handset is juiced by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and runs the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14 interface out of the box.

The Xiaomi 13 comes in Black, White, and Flora Green color options and carries a starting price of 999 Euros (INR 87,999 approx.).
The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options and comes at a starting price of 1,299 Euros (INR 1,13,999 approx.). The phone will be available on sale starting March 8, 2023, via Xiaomi’s official channels globally. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will also be coming to India, and Xiaomi India will announce the pricing and delivery dates on February 28th.
