A song remix is a new version of an existing song that changes how it sounds or is arranged while keeping some recognizable connection to the source. When Is A Remix The Wrong Tool?
If you want an entirely original track with no source song to preserve, start from a new musical idea instead of calling it a remix. If you want the source to remain unchanged, simply play the original.
