RedmiBook e-Learning Edition and RedmiBook Pro notebooks launched in India

After much teasing, Redmi finally announced the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-learning edition laptops in the country. Priced below INR 50,000, these laptops claim to offer the best price to performance in the market currently.

This RedmiBook lineup offers a 15.6-inch FHD screen, and a thin & light form factor with a plastic build. While the RedmiBook Pro is powered by 11th Generation Intel Core i5 Tiger Lake H-series processor, the E-learning Edition gets the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor.

The Pro model also gets 8GB RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD while the cheaper model gets 256GB / 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. All I/O are common on both models which includes Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Full sized SD Card reader, USB 3.2 gen 1 ports, HDMI and ethernet jack. There is also a 720p HD webcam in-built which was missing on the Mi Notebook 14 series. The laptops also get a substantial 46Whr battery which can last for up to 10 hrs on a single charge.

The RedmiBook Pro 15 and RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition come in Charcoal Grey colours. The RedmiBook Pro is priced at INR 49,999 and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is priced at INR 41,999 for the 256GB version and INR 44,999 for 512GB version. These will be available from Flipkart, mi.com and Mi Home stores offline starting August 6th.
