After much tease, POCO India finally announced the launch for the POCO F3 GT. The phone will be launched in the country on July 23 and will go head on with the OnePlus Nord 2.
From the teasers, that the brand put out on social media, it is safe to say that the phone is a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G SoC and will come in two colors Grey and Black. The phone will be made out of aluminum with glass on both front and back.
POCO F3 GT is going to be the costliest POCO smartphone in the country and will perhaps cross the INR 30K mark. It also gets a new 10-bit AMOLED panel that has very narrow bezels, a centre punch-hole and 120Hz refresh rate.
Since its a gaming phone, we get to see two mechanical triggers that pop-out from the chassis of the phone with the flick of a switch. The brand calls them Maglev Triggers since they operate via a magnet. The phone also has some improvements done on the optics department, and we will see a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP main sensor, along with two additional smaller sensors.
We should know more about the phone as the launch nears.
