AI-generated music can be usable in a video, podcast, or release when the product’s applicable terms grant the needed permission, but a commercial-use license does not automatically give you copyright in the track or clear someone else’s voice, lyrics, or music. On a Xiaomi or Redmi phone, check the tool’s terms for the plan that generated the track, keep records of your own creative work, and meet the destination platform’s disclosure rules before publishing.
What “Legal To Use” Means For An AI Track
There are two separate questions: whether a service lets you use a track under its terms, and whether you can claim copyright in the track. A product’s commercial license addresses permission under that service’s terms; it does not by itself establish that the entire output is copyrightable or resolve rights in material you supplied.

- Start with material you control. Write original lyrics and describe musical qualities in your own words. For example: “Create a warm instrumental for a short travel video, with gentle percussion, soft bass, and a rising final section.” Avoid asking for a named singer’s voice or a near-copy of a particular song. Musicful specifically encourages creators not to copy copyrighted works or protected content from specific artists.
- Use references only when you have permission. If you provide recorded audio, lyrics, or a voice, make sure you have the necessary rights and consent for that use. A tool’s upload or voice feature does not itself establish permission from the person recorded or the rights holder.
- Keep evidence of your contribution. Save your lyrics, prompt drafts, edits, and the final version. - Match the plan to the use. Before downloading or publishing, check the plan active when the track was generated, its commercial-use scope, and any restrictions on the kind of project. Save a copy of the relevant terms or license information with the track.
- Check the destination’s rules. Keep the track’s origin and any required disclosures accurate when uploading, distributing, or monetizing it.
Voices, Covers, Samples, And Platform Disclosure
Do not use another person’s voice or identity as though they authorized it unless you have their consent and the relevant product terms permit the use.
