Use a text-to-music generator to sketch a slow, minor-key instrumental, then shape the arrangement with sparse drums, warm chords, a restrained melody and deliberate room for noise. Write A Sad Lo-Fi Prompt
Sad lo-fi usually depends on restraint: a slow pulse, minor harmony, soft or dusty drums, a narrow melodic idea, gentle imperfections and a clear emotional image. Put those musical instructions before the scene so the generator has a usable hierarchy.

Replace the scene, instrument and intensity words while keeping the emotional direction. Do not assume a generator will obey an exact BPM, key or length unless its own controls or output settings state that it can.
Make The First Draft On Your Phone
- Open a phone-ready tool. Sign in to Suno or Soundverse on Android, or use InsMelo’s listed web/mobile access. If you choose a browser tool, keep the project tab open while it renders.
- Choose instrumental mode where available. This avoids an unwanted vocal competing with the small lo-fi melody. For a vocal diary track, ask for restrained, close vocals and simple lyrics instead.

Keep The Harmony Small

Add Texture Carefully
