Overview

Twikit is a cloud platform for building and running 3D product configurators tied to product rules, prices and manufacturing workflows. It best suits brands and enterprises selling configurable products through web stores or dealer portals. Its strength is connecting customer choices to operational outputs; implementation commonly involves trained teams or certified partners, and pricing is custom.

Key features

TwikBot is divided into Create, Live and Hub. Create lets teams build product logic, dependencies, constraints, pricing and workflows without code. That can reduce the need to write custom configuration logic, though a no-code editor does not remove the work of defining a product’s rules.

Live presents configuration in real-time 3D on websites and dealer portals, validates choices and updates pricing as customers make selections. It supports WebGL or Unreal Engine rendering, and a JavaScript SDK allows deployment in custom frontends. Web embedding, AR support, and OBJ and GLB asset formats broaden its fit for commerce experiences, while the range of rendering options means teams need to choose an approach suited to their storefront.

Hub manages catalogs, prices, sales channels, orders, approvals and production outputs. Twikit can generate PDFs, bills of materials, cutting lists, CAD files, DXF files, order specifications and ERP-compatible files. An open API is intended to connect the platform with MES, ERP, CPQ and e-commerce systems; named connections include SAP, Shopify and Odoo, and commerce integrations also include Magento / Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce and headless platforms. The breadth of those outputs and integrations makes Twikit more relevant to businesses linking product customization with fulfillment than to teams seeking only a visual design tool.

Twikit describes its SaaS infrastructure as TISAX certified and says it applies Belgian and EU data protection law, including GDPR, with technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Partners receive onboarding, training and direct access to experts.

Pricing

TwikBot Platform is paid software with custom pricing. Twikit directs prospective customers to book a demo or contact the company to discuss plans; it does not publish a price on the pricing page. That makes it difficult to compare cost before engaging with the sales process, so buyers should clarify licensing, implementation and ongoing terms during that discussion.

The platform combines Create, Hub and Live; no separate plan prices or quotas are given. Twikit says most implementations are delivered by trained teams or certified partners, so buyers should account for implementation planning as part of the decision rather than assume a self-serve setup.

Platforms

Twikit supports web, iOS, Android and API. Configurators can run on websites or dealer portals, with a JavaScript SDK for custom frontends. Its open API structure targets connections to business systems, while named commerce options include Shopify, Magento / Adobe Commerce and WooCommerce.

Who it's for

Twikit is a strong candidate for brands and enterprises whose configurable products need validated options, live pricing and production-ready documentation in one workflow. It is also relevant to 3D studios, modeling agencies, e-commerce agencies and CPQ specialists working with those businesses. A company looking only for a standalone 3D viewer, or one unwilling to plan a partner-led implementation, should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pro: Product rules, live pricing and validation connect the customer’s configuration to commercial constraints, reducing the risk of presenting invalid choices.
Pro: Manufacturing outputs such as bills of materials, CAD and ERP-compatible files carry configured orders into production workflows.
Pro: WebGL and Unreal Engine options, web embedding and a JavaScript SDK offer flexibility in how configurators reach customers.
Con: Custom pricing and a demo-led sales process make it hard to judge affordability without contacting Twikit.
Con: Most implementations are delivered by trained teams or certified partners, which may not suit buyers seeking a fully self-service launch.

Threekit is another paid web option with 3D and 2D product visualization, AR, hosting and digital asset management; consider it when those capabilities are the priority.
3DBAE has a free Hobby plan with 100 MB storage, one project and up to two models and two environment assets; it is worth considering when a free entry point and small project cap matter more than Twikit’s connected production workflow.
ShapeDiver offers a Startup plan from 199.00 EUR per month on an annual plan, with 2,000 monthly credits, up to 30 seconds of computation and two seats; consider it when those defined usage limits and seat terms suit the project.
ConfigOne offers a SaaS plan at 499.00 PLN per month after implementation for one product line, making it an alternative for a buyer who prefers a published monthly starting price and a defined product-line scope.
Alter Product has a Personal plan at 14.99 EUR per month with saved Designer and 3D model generator projects and print-ready exports; it may fit buyers focused on those design and mockup outputs.
Expivi is a paid web-based alternative.
3D Cloud Product Configurator is a paid alternative.
iONE360 offers a Professional plan from 475.00 EUR per month with unlimited products; consider it when that published starting price and product allowance are a closer fit.

Verdict

Choose Twikit if your business needs customer-facing 3D configuration to feed validated pricing and manufacturing outputs, and you can accommodate a partner-led implementation. Its end-to-end connection between product logic, sales channels and production is the main reason to choose it. Look elsewhere if you need transparent upfront pricing or a self-service setup.
