Overview

Textedly is a business SMS and MMS platform built around bulk campaigns and customer conversations. It suits organizations that need both scheduled outreach and a shared way to handle replies, rather than a tool for one-way promotions alone. Its range of monthly message allowances makes it usable from small campaigns through substantially larger volumes, but the right plan depends on matching that allowance to demand.

Key features

Campaign tools cover scheduled messages, drip campaigns, text-to-join and text voting. That mix supports recurring outreach and simple text-based participation; audience segmentation can help target messages, though no segmentation methods or audience limits are specified. MMS is supported alongside SMS.

Automatic replies can handle inbound texts and run at selected times, while the omnichannel inbox lets teams assign conversations and create response workflows. These features make Textedly more relevant to teams sharing customer communications than to senders who only need bulk delivery. SMS Text-to-Pay and Google Business Reviews are included on every plan, extending the service beyond campaigns.

Integrations include Slack, Salesforce, Zapier, Mailchimp, WordPress, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Shopify and Zendesk. The iOS and Android apps support mass blasts, scheduled campaigns and real-time push notifications; the service also runs on the web. Textedly says it uses SSL encryption, HTTPS, role-based permissions and mandatory two-factor authentication, and describes additional staff training, monitoring, scanning and third-party testing practices. Customer service is offered seven days a week by phone, web chat, email or text.

Pricing

A free account starts with 50 text messages and one custom keyword, requires no credit card and has no time limit stated. It is a useful small-scale starting point, but far below the paid plans' monthly allowances. Paid plans begin at $29.00 USD per month, and annual billing adds 20% more monthly messages. Each plan includes SMS Text-to-Pay and Google Business Reviews.

Plan	Monthly price	Messages/month, monthly billing	Messages/month, annual billing
Basic	$29.00 USD per month	500	600
Bronze	$49.00 USD per month	1,000	1,200
Plus	$79.00 USD per month	2,000	2,400
Enterprise	$125.00 USD per month	3,500	4,200
Elite	$169.00 USD per month	5,000	6,000
Business	$299.00 USD per month	10,000	12,000
Silver	$420.00 USD per month	15,000	18,000
Premium	$599.00 USD per month	25,000	30,000
Pro	$720.00 USD per month	35,000	42,000
Gold	$1,020.00 USD per month	50,000	60,000

Basic is the lowest-cost paid option for modest campaigns, while Bronze and Plus raise the allowance in smaller steps. Enterprise through Gold are progressively aimed at higher-volume messaging; moving up buys more monthly capacity, not a different set of included payment and review features. Annual billing increases the message quota, but the stated prices are monthly figures and do not establish an annual total. A 14-day trial is also offered.

Platforms

Textedly is available on Android, iOS and the web. The mobile apps bring campaign scheduling and push notifications to phones, while web access supports use from a browser.

Who it's for

Textedly is a good fit for businesses and organizations that need SMS or MMS campaigns alongside shared inbound handling, scheduled automated replies and team assignments. It is less compelling for very small senders whose needs fit within the 50-message free account, or for teams that require published per-user seat limits: plan allowances are stated by message volume, not seats.

Pros and cons

Pros: Campaign scheduling, drip messaging, text-to-join and voting combine outreach with interactive options.
Pros: Automated replies and an assignable team inbox help manage incoming conversations as well as outbound sends.
Pros: Every paid plan includes SMS Text-to-Pay and Google Business Reviews, and annual billing adds 20% to monthly message allowances.
Cons: The free account's 50 messages and one keyword are restrictive for ongoing campaigns.
Cons: The lowest paid tier is capped at 500 messages per month on monthly billing, so growing senders must move up the price ladder to gain capacity.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Business Text Messaging Software, Two-Way SMS Software, Messenger Marketing Software and SMS Marketing Software.

Bird Verify is a better fit when verification is the goal: verification itself has no separate fee, while channel message charges apply.
Text Request may suit a high-volume team looking for 20,000 included texts and 10 dashboards on its $575.00 USD per month Enterprise plan.
Sinch Engage offers tiered SMS allowances, including 3,000 SMS per month with one user on Basics and 10,000 SMS per month with two users on Conversations.
Apptoto may be preferable when a starting price of $30 per month and $10 for each additional user suit the budget; it offers monthly or annual subscriptions with no contract required.
EZ Texting starts its Launch plan at $20.00 USD per month billed annually for up to 500 contacts, 6,000 yearly credits and one user, with a $0.04 overage credit and telecom fee.
Heymarket is another shared-inbox option; its Standard plan is $49 per user per month billed annually, with a two-user minimum.
MessageDesk is an alternative for teams considering a per-user monthly price under an annual contract, with a three-user minimum on its Team plan.
Sakari is worth comparing for teams seeking unlimited users and contacts on a Standard plan starting at $25 USD per month.

Verdict

Choose Textedly if your organization wants campaign scheduling and automation together with a team inbox, and its message allowances align with your monthly volume. Its broad campaign toolkit and shared conversation handling are the main reasons to choose it; look elsewhere if you need a larger free allowance or pricing organized around clearly stated seats.
