Overview

Thanx is built to help restaurant marketers increase visit frequency. Loyalty, campaigns, branded ordering, integrations, and reporting sit within one platform, which can reduce the need to assemble those functions across separate tools. That breadth favors operators with the scale and resources to make use of connected guest data; smaller businesses may find the enterprise orientation and custom pricing harder to justify.

The platform supports quick-service, fast-casual, table-service, and coffee and treat businesses. Thanx says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, is a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider, and reports uptime above 99.95%. It also provides dedicated developer support and managed platform, security-patch, and infrastructure maintenance. These are meaningful operational assurances for restaurants relying on digital ordering and guest programs, though they do not remove the need to assess fit and service terms directly.

Key features

Loyalty and marketing

Programs can use points, optional tiers, discounts, experiential rewards, and app-free enrollment. Tiered rewards and referral programs broaden the ways a restaurant can encourage repeat visits without requiring guests to install an app just to join. Lifecycle automation, AI-assisted segmentation, A/B testing, and targeting based on more than 400 guest attributes give marketing teams room to tailor campaigns; that depth is most useful when a business has enough guest activity and staff capacity to act on the segments.

Ordering and integrations

Branded mobile apps and web ordering include persistent login, one-click reorder, and integrated loyalty. The connected journey is a clear advantage for restaurants that want ordering and rewards to reinforce each other. Thanx says it has more than 60 pre-built integrations across POS, ordering, kiosk, feedback, customer data, and marketing platforms, including Toast, Square, Qu, Olo, and Deliverect among its ordering options. Compatibility still depends on a restaurant’s existing stack and chosen platform capabilities.

Data and operations

Dashboard reporting, nightly SFTP exports, data-warehouse sync, and APIs for technology partners provide several routes to use guest and program data outside the platform. Dedicated developer support and managed infrastructure reduce some of the operational burden, making Thanx more attractive to teams that value vendor involvement than to those seeking a lightweight self-managed tool.

Pricing

Thanx enterprise solutions: custom pricing. The quote depends on restaurant count, average unit volume, and platform capabilities, and is offered only to companies based in the USA and Canada. This structure can accommodate differing restaurant groups, but buyers cannot compare a published per-location or per-seat price before discussing their requirements. No free plan or trial terms are stated.

Platforms

Thanx supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Branded mobile apps and web ordering cover guest-facing channels, while APIs support technology partners. The stated country restriction is a substantial constraint for companies based outside the USA and Canada.

Who it's for

Thanx is best suited to restaurant groups in the USA or Canada that want loyalty, lifecycle marketing, branded ordering, integrations, and data access under one enterprise-oriented offering. It is less suitable for operators seeking a low-cost, self-serve loyalty tool, an upfront price, or service outside those countries.

Con: Availability is limited to companies based in the USA and Canada.
Con: The enterprise focus and range of marketing tools may be more than a smaller operator needs.

Alternatives

Consider Incentivio as another paid option on Android, iOS, and web; its stated terms include neither a free plan nor a free trial. CardFree Loyalty is another paid Android, iOS, and web option, with pricing framed around paying only for needed functionality and a demo. PAR Engagement, Hang, and Paytronix are also paid alternatives, with Android, API, iOS, and web stated for the first two, and web, iOS, and Android for Paytronix.

For a small-business plan with a stated starting price, Preferred Patron offers Small Business at 29.00 USD per month for 1–3 locations under an annual agreement paid monthly; month-to-month terms cost an additional 40%. Loyalzoo may suit a buyer who wants a trial and published entry pricing: its GROW plan is 77.00 USD per month and includes points- or stamp-based loyalty, basic SMS, email and push marketing, and subscriptions and memberships. For a freemium option, Loga offers a free plan at 0.00 THB per free for 100 members and one admin, with a Starter plan at 490.00 THB per month for 1,000 members and five admins. These alternatives trade Thanx’s stated enterprise breadth for different pricing approaches and plan details.

Verdict

Choose Thanx if you run a USA- or Canada-based restaurant group and want loyalty, marketing automation, branded ordering, integrations, and managed technical support in one platform. Its connected toolkit and data pathways are the strongest reasons to consider it. Look elsewhere if you need public pricing, a lightweight small-business product, or availability beyond those two countries.
