Overview

Rezi is an AI tool for building resumes and other career documents, made by a company founded in 2015 and based in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. Its emphasis is on drafting and targeting applications rather than simply providing a template: formatting is applied as users type, and its tools offer structured prompts for revision. That is a practical fit for an active search, but less compelling if you only need one document and do not expect to use its career tools.

Key features

ATS formatting and scoring: Rezi applies ATS-compatible formatting during writing, while Rezi Score evaluates resume sections and suggests improvements. The combination gives applicants a framework for revising, though scores and prompts still leave candidates responsible for accuracy and judgment.
Job targeting: AI Keyword Targeting scans a job description for keywords missing from a resume. It can direct edits toward a particular opening, but keywords should only be added when they reflect the applicant’s actual experience.
Career-document writing: AI tools assist with resumes, summaries, cover letters, and resignation letters. Resume import is supported, and the broader career toolkit includes interview practice and job search. This breadth is useful for applicants managing several stages of a search, though the free plan sharply limits some activity.
Exports and integrations: Paid plan comparisons include PDF and Microsoft Word downloads and Google Drive export. The free Chrome extension can autofill job applications; Rezi also lists Resume MCP for managing resumes in LLMs. These options extend the product beyond editing, but unlimited downloads require a paid plan or Lifetime access.
Privacy and support: Rezi says users can permanently delete their data by closing an account from the dashboard and that it does not sell private personal information. The company site displays an AICPA SOC 2 Certified badge; support is available at support@rezi.io.

Pricing

Rezi uses a freemium model. The free plan costs $0 and allows one resume, one AI interview, three PDF downloads, and Standard Format templates. That is enough to draft and try the workflow, but the download cap can become restrictive when applying to multiple roles or revising often.

Pro costs $29 per month, billed at $29 / month. It removes the resume, interview, and PDF-download limits, unlocks all templates, and includes a free monthly review. It is the more practical choice for an active applicant who expects to maintain several versions and export them regularly.

Lifetime costs $149 per month as a one-time payment. It provides permanent access to Pro features, unlimited resumes, full AI tools, and unlimited downloads. The one-time payment distinguishes it from monthly Pro, making it relevant to someone seeking ongoing access rather than recurring billing.

Enterprise costs $99 per month per 200 users and includes everything in Pro along with SSO, webhooks, and team roles. It is aimed at universities, agencies, and career sites serving job seekers; those organization features matter more than individual resume limits for this audience.

Platforms

Rezi is available on the web, iOS, and as an extension. The Chrome extension is free to use and can autofill job applications, while the main resume and career-document tools support drafting and exporting.

Who it's for

Rezi is best for job seekers who tailor applications to different openings and want guided feedback on both resume quality and job-description keywords. Its free tier can suit a limited or exploratory search. Applicants who need frequent exports, multiple resumes, or broader template access will get more from Pro; organizations serving job seekers should consider Enterprise for its team controls and SSO.

Pros and cons

Pros

Targeted revision: Section-level scoring and missing-keyword scans give applicants concrete areas to review for each application.
Useful free starting point: One resume and three PDF downloads allow a job seeker to try the core workflow without paying.
Career-document coverage: Writing tools extend beyond resumes to summaries, cover letters, and resignation letters, with interview practice and job search also part of the career toolkit.

Cons

Free exports are capped: Three PDF downloads may not stretch far for applicants tailoring documents across many openings.
Pro is a recurring expense: At $29 per month, unlimited resumes, interviews, downloads, and all templates make most sense for sustained use rather than a one-off resume.
Lifetime wording warrants attention: The plan is a $149 one-time payment despite its displayed per-month label, so buyers should distinguish that term from Pro’s monthly billing.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, browse AI Resume Builders, AI Cover Letter Generators, Resume Design Software, Resume Builders, or Cover Letter Software.

Kickresume is an alternative with free resume and matching cover-letter templates, a basic website template, and a library of pre-written phrases.

MyPerfectResume is another freemium option, with a Basic Access plan that offers unlimited TXT downloads and a 14-Day Premium Access plan.
Resume Genius may suit applicants who can work with TXT-only resume downloads on its free plan, which also includes cover-letter downloads in PDF, Word, and TXT and a US-only job board.

Zety offers a Basic Package with resume and cover-letter building, templates, and TXT downloads, alongside unlimited downloads, prints, and edits.
Novorésumé offers a free Basic plan limited to one version and a one-page resume, or a 10-page resume/CV on its Premium Month plan for 23.99 USD per month, billed as a one-time payment with no recurring billing.

Verdict

Choose Rezi if you are tailoring applications regularly and want ATS-oriented formatting, section-by-section resume feedback, and job-specific keyword prompts in one workflow. Its free plan is a sensible starting point, but the three-download cap is the main reason to look elsewhere or move to Pro; people creating a single document may not get enough from the ongoing toolset to justify a subscription.
