Overview

Resos is a booking and table-management system for restaurants, cafés, bars, and pubs that want to manage reservations and guest service in one place. It is best suited to venues that value direct online bookings and can work within monthly booking caps or pay for more capacity.

Its strongest case is the combination of booking channels, table planning, guest profiles, and reminders; the main caveat is that the free tier is capped at 25 bookings a month and excludes add-ons.

Key features

Bookings and table operations

Venues can add a booking link or widget to a website and social media without coding. Guests can also book through Google Search, Maps, or Assistant, with availability syncing automatically. Reserve with Google requires a paid subscription, costs extra, and is available only in supported countries, so venues that depend on that channel should check eligibility and add-on cost before choosing Resos.

The visual table planner shows tables and occupancy, while waitlist management, deposits or prepayment, and multi-location support cover useful operational needs beyond taking reservations. These features make Resos a broader fit than a booking form alone, though the plan quotas still shape how many reservations a venue can process.

Guest service, integrations, and security

Automatic customer profiles support more tailored service, and automated SMS and email reminders are intended to help reduce no-shows. Integrations named by Resos include Stripe, Trustpilot, and Facebook, with custom integrations possible through Zapier. A developer API offers another route to connect existing technology.

Resos says guest data is stored on an encrypted platform, connections use SSL, and the service is GDPR-compliant. Guest and booking data can be exported to CSV on demand. Free personal support and a personal setup call are useful for venues that want help getting started.

Pricing

Resos has a free tier described as free forever, with 25 bookings per month, core features, and personal support. Add-ons are unavailable on this tier, making it a reasonable starting point for a very low-volume venue but a poor fit if a paid add-on such as Reserve with Google is essential.

Paid plans include core features and access to paid add-ons, with add-ons free for 30 days and then billed separately. Basic allows 350 bookings per month at 4523.00 EUR per month (billed Monthly -50% for 1 month); Plus allows 750 bookings per month at 8543.00 EUR per month (billed Monthly -50% for 1 month); Unlimited removes the monthly booking cap at 12563.00 EUR per month (billed Monthly -50% for 1 month). The plan labels show the capacity tiers, but the displayed prices and billing terms are unusually formatted; confirm the applicable amount and renewal terms before committing. Resos also advertises a 90-day money-back guarantee on paid plans.

Basic is the step up for venues outgrowing the free quota, while Plus suits higher booking volume. Unlimited is the option for venues that cannot work within a monthly cap. The free tier gives up add-ons, and every paid tier remains subject to separately billed add-ons after its first 30 days.

Platforms

Resos is available on Android, iOS, and the web, and offers an API for integrations. That mix suits venues that need mobile access as well as browser-based booking administration or connections to existing systems.

Who it's for

Resos is a sensible choice for restaurants, cafés, bars, and pubs that want online reservations, a visual view of table occupancy, guest profiles, and reminders together. Its free plan can suit a small venue with no more than 25 monthly bookings and no need for add-ons. Venues with higher volume should compare the paid booking quotas against expected demand, and those needing Reserve with Google must account for both the paid subscription and add-on.

Pros and cons

Pros: Website and social booking links or widgets need no coding, lowering the effort to offer direct reservations.
Pros: Table planning, guest profiles, waitlist management, deposits, and reminders bring several reservation tasks into one system.
Pros: The free tier includes core features and personal support, and guest and booking data can be exported to CSV.
Cons: The free plan stops at 25 bookings a month and excludes add-ons, limiting its usefulness as a venue grows or needs extra channels.
Cons: Reserve with Google is an extra-cost add-on, requires a paid subscription, and depends on country availability.
Cons: Paid plan prices are presented with an unusual monthly and discount format, so buyers should confirm the amount and renewal terms before purchase.

Verdict

Choose Resos if your venue wants booking channels, table planning, guest profiles, and reminders under one roof, with a free tier for modest reservation volume. Look elsewhere if 25 monthly bookings is too restrictive, if add-ons must be included without extra cost, or if the paid pricing and renewal terms do not suit your budget.
