Overview

Work is organized in Kanban-style Pipes: stages show a process’s progress, while cards represent individual work items. Teams can add conditional logic, SLA management, advanced reports, secure databases, automated emails, and process integrations. That range makes Pipefy more than a task board; it is built to structure and automate business processes.

Pipefy AI Agents can perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with systems either autonomously or under supervision. The platform advertises more than 600 ready-to-use connectors, with no-code, drag-and-drop integration flows. These capabilities give teams options for connecting processes, though the plan’s usage allowances still matter when estimating ongoing automation and AI needs.

Key features

Configurable workflows: Pipes, stages, cards, and conditional logic let teams shape processes around their work. Starter’s five-process and five-workflow caps suit narrower needs; they are restrictive for teams managing many distinct processes.
Automation and AI: Business includes 300 automation jobs per month, while Enterprise includes 2,000. Each plan also includes 1,000 single-use AI credits, with additional credits available as add-ons. Those limits are worth weighing against expected usage; the credit allowance is not described as recurring.
Integrations and API: The connector library and no-code flows support connecting processes to other systems. API access is a Business feature, with monthly call limits that vary by plan.
Security and reliability: Pipefy says data is encrypted in transit and at rest with 256-bit encryption, and platform uptime is 99.9% or higher. Its Trust Center lists a 2025 SOC 2 report and ISO 27001, ISO 27018, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001 certificates; access to these materials requires a request.

Pricing

Pipefy uses a freemium model, but prices for Starter, Business, and Enterprise are custom pricing. The free plan offers community support. Standard Support is included with Business, while Enterprise includes support from Pipefy’s team.

Plan	Published allowance	Best fit
Starter	5 processes, 10 users, 50 cards created per month, 2 GB storage, 500 database records, and 5 workflows	Small teams with a limited number of processes. The user, card, storage, and workflow caps may constrain growing or high-volume work.
Business	Unlimited processes, users, and workflows; 100 guest users; 20 GB storage; 300 automation jobs per month	Teams needing scale across internal users and processes, API access, and Standard Support. The automation allowance is a key constraint to check.
Enterprise	Unlimited processes, users, workflows, and guest users; 100 interfaces; 2,000 automation jobs per month	Organizations with broader external collaboration or heavier automation needs. It raises the job allowance substantially over Business, but still has a stated monthly cap.

All plans include 1,000 single-use AI credits, and extra credits can be bought as add-ons. Compare that allowance and each plan’s monthly API limits with the work you expect to run before choosing a tier.

Platforms

Pipefy is available on web, Android, and iOS, and provides an API. Its smartphone and tablet app has help content for both Android and iOS. API access is a Business feature, with monthly call limits set by plan.

Who it's for

Pipefy is a strong candidate for teams that want structured, stage-based processes and need automation, integrations, reporting, or AI agents within the same platform. Starter is better suited to a small, bounded operation; Business and Enterprise offer room for more users and processes. Teams that need predictable published prices, or whose usage exceeds the relevant job, credit, or API allowances, should compare alternatives before committing.

Pros and cons

Pro: Configurable Pipes, conditional logic, SLA management, reports, databases, and automated emails cover several parts of process management in one platform.
Pro: More than 600 connectors and no-code integration flows offer substantial options for linking processes with other systems.
Pro: AI agents can take actions and make decisions autonomously or with supervision, with add-on credits available beyond the included allowance.
Con: Plan prices are custom pricing, so teams cannot compare the listed tiers by cost alone.
Con: Starter’s 10-user, 50-card-per-month, and five-workflow caps can be limiting as work expands.
Con: Automation jobs, AI credits, and plan-specific API call limits make usage planning important, even on higher tiers.

Verdict

Choose Pipefy if your team needs configurable business processes with automation, integrations, and supervised or autonomous AI agents in one platform. Its key advantage is the breadth of workflow tools and connectors; its main drawback is that custom pricing and capped usage allowances make costs and capacity harder to assess upfront. Teams with simple needs or a preference for published prices should look elsewhere.
