Overview

Pin combines candidate search, matching, outreach, and interview scheduling for recruiters and hiring teams. It is most compelling for teams that want a connected workflow around an existing ATS; the free plan is a constrained introduction, while sustained use means paid annual billing.

Key features

Search and match

Pin searches an aggregated pool of more than 850 million candidate profiles from multiple data providers. Natural-language queries and AI ranking by skills, experience, and fit can narrow that pool, while AI-written reasoning gives recruiters context for the ranking. That can speed initial review, but it does not replace a recruiter's assessment of a candidate.

Outreach and interviews

Personalized multi-channel sequences and a unified inbox keep candidate replies alongside outreach. Pin also coordinates availability and books interviews automatically, making it more useful to teams that want to move beyond sourcing rather than add another standalone database.

Integrations and controls

Pin says it connects to 120+ ATS platforms, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Bullhorn, iCIMS, and Jobvite. Its Chrome extension imports profiles from LinkedIn and the web. A hosted MCP server supports Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible clients. Pin says customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit, its controls are SOC 2 Type 2 audited, and customer searches are not used to train models.

Pricing

Pin uses a freemium model and offers a free trial. Free is $0.00 USD per free, billed free forever, with 5 contact lookup credits per week, 1 job position, 1 AI Agent, and email-only sequences. That is enough to explore a narrow workflow, but the weekly lookup cap and single position make it a poor fit for ongoing or concurrent recruiting.

Solo is $99.00 USD per month per user, billed annually only on annual billing. It includes one seat, unlimited job positions, 500 contact lookup credits, 2 AI Agents, and multi-channel sequences. It is the entry point for an individual recruiter who needs broader outreach and uncapped positions, though the single-seat structure does not support team collaboration.

Professional is $135179.00 USD per month per user, billed annually. It includes 2 AI Agents per user, 1,000 credits per seat per month, team collaboration and a shared inbox, multi-channel sequences, and advanced agent sourcing. It adds team features and higher monthly credit capacity, but the stated price is a steep step from Solo for those needs.

Business has custom pricing for your team and includes unlimited seats, unlimited contact lookup credits, unlimited AI Agents, premium ATS integrations, and a dedicated account manager. It is aimed at teams that need scale and premium support rather than a fixed per-seat plan. Plan support features include email support, onboarding and training, and a dedicated account manager.

Platforms

Pin is available via API, browser extension, and web. The Chrome extension is useful for importing profiles while browsing, while the API and hosted MCP connection offer additional ways to fit Pin into a recruiting workflow.

Who it's for

Pin suits recruiters, agencies, founders, and hiring teams that need sourcing, candidate contact, and interview coordination in one platform. Its breadth and ATS connections are strongest for active hiring workflows; those who need only a small number of lookups or a standalone sourcing tool may find the paid commitment hard to justify.

Pros and cons

Pros: Search across 850 million-plus profiles and AI-assisted matching bring discovery and initial evaluation together.
Pros: Multi-channel outreach, a shared inbox on Professional, and automatic interview booking can reduce handoffs across the candidate process.
Pros: 120+ ATS integrations, profile importing, and an MCP server provide several routes into existing workflows.
Cons: Free is limited to 5 weekly lookup credits, one job, one AI Agent, and email-only sequences.
Cons: Solo is one seat and billed annually, so teams need a higher plan and buyers must accept an annual commitment for the advertised entry price.

Verdict

Pin is a strong fit for recruiting teams that want one platform to source, contact, match, and schedule candidates while working with an ATS. Its broad workflow and integrations are the main reasons to choose it; the free plan's tight caps and annual per-user pricing are reasons to look elsewhere if you need only occasional sourcing or cannot commit to paid seats.
