Overview

SalonHub360 is an operations platform for salons, spas, and barbershops that want scheduling, checkout, and business tools in one system. It suits owners who can scale the plan with their staff and need more than a booking page. Its strongest case is breadth; the free tier is tightly capped, and larger teams must move to paid plans.

Key features

Scheduling combines day, week, and month calendars with color-coded services, drag-and-drop changes, availability rules, walk-in queues, and a lobby check-in kiosk. That combination is useful for businesses balancing booked appointments with walk-ins, rather than requiring every arrival to begin as a scheduled slot.

Checkout handles tips, split tenders, partial payments, gift-card QR redemption, line-level tax, refunds, and searchable sales history. Card processing uses standard Stripe rates without added SalonHub360 markup or commission, so payment costs still apply but there is no extra platform surcharge stated.

Growth and higher plans add a branded website and custom domain. Growth supplies the website builder and client reviews; Premium adds an advanced builder, marketing tools, AI marketing suggestions, inventory, and loyalty. Google Calendar and Instagram integrations, along with the option to bring your own file storage, are listed under Team & Operations.

Growth and higher also let salons export client and service records to CSV, a useful safeguard for owners who want a portable copy of their data. SalonHub360 says it uses HTTPS, encrypted token storage, and access controls; Stripe handles payment details, and SalonHub360 says it does not retain full card numbers. The privacy policy says its mobile apps do not use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising services. It also says the service is not configured for HIPAA-protected health information unless agreed otherwise in writing, so healthcare providers handling that data should look elsewhere or secure a written arrangement.

Pricing

The Free plan costs $0/month and includes one staff member, a basic booking page, an appointment calendar, and limited services and clients, with no payment required. It is a way to start with basic bookings, but its caps make it a poor fit for a busy salon or one needing the broader operating toolkit.

Starter costs 19.99 USD per month, billed $19.99/month, for one staff member, online booking, a full service menu, client management, and basic appointment reminders. It is the entry paid option for a solo operator who wants a fuller service menu and client records, but it does not include the website, custom domain, or SMS reminders offered at Growth.

Growth costs 49.99 USD per month, billed $49.99/month, and supports up to five staff. It adds SMS reminders, a salon website builder, custom domain, and client reviews, making it the more suitable tier for small teams that want a branded web presence.

Premium costs 99.99 USD per month, billed $99.99/month, for up to 15 staff. Its advanced website builder, marketing features, AI suggestions, inventory, loyalty, and priority support make the larger price step most defensible for salons that will use the expanded operating and retention tools.

Enterprise has custom pricing for businesses with 16 or more staff or multiple locations, and includes multi-location support, custom onboarding, and priority support. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled anytime without a contract or cancellation fee.

Platforms

SalonHub360 is available on Android, iOS, and the web, covering mobile devices as well as browser-based use.

Who it's for

It is a strong fit for salons, spas, and barbershops that want booking, payment processing, client management, and growth tools under one roof. Solo businesses can begin on Free or Starter, while teams should weigh Growth and Premium against their staff caps and need for websites, marketing, inventory, and loyalty. Businesses handling protected health information should not assume HIPAA suitability.

Pros and cons

Pro: Scheduling accounts for both appointments and walk-ins, with queues and a lobby kiosk alongside calendar controls.
Pro: Checkout supports varied payment scenarios, while SalonHub360 adds no markup to Stripe's standard card rates.
Pro: Growth and higher include a branded website and CSV export for client and service records.
Con: Free is limited to one staff member and caps services and clients, so it is mainly a basic starting point.
Con: Website, domain, SMS reminders, inventory, and loyalty are reserved for higher paid tiers, raising the price for salons that need them.
Con: The stated HIPAA limitation rules it out for protected health information unless a written agreement changes that position.

Alternatives

Salonnare is worth considering for a smaller booking operation: its Free plan allows one staff member and 50 bookings/month, while its €29/month Starter supports three staff and unlimited bookings/month. Choose it if those booking limits and price suit better than SalonHub360's broader tools.

Nail Studio Pro may suit a nail business looking for a free entry tier with explicit quotas: its Free plan includes 30 registered clients, 40 appointments per month, eight catalog services, and manual WhatsApp. Pick it if those caps fit and a narrow nail-service focus is preferable.

Booqinq and Anolla both offer free plans and free trials; compare their booking approach if a wider platform range is a priority.

Klippa has a free plan for one staff member and one location, including 50 SMS/month before a 6c charge per message; it may be a better match when those specific limits suit.

Salonized is a paid alternative with a free trial and an Appointments plan at 21.00 EUR per month, while DaySmart Salon offers a paid Basic plan at 29.00 USD per month with one user and online booking. Consider them if a paid-first option better matches your buying preference.

Zolmi is another freemium option, with a START plan shown for a three-staff example and stock limited to 10 products.

Verdict

Choose SalonHub360 if your salon wants scheduling and checkout together with a website and, at higher tiers, marketing, inventory, and loyalty. The deciding drawback is that the useful breadth sits behind staff-based paid tiers, while the free plan is limited; businesses handling protected health information also need a different solution unless they have a written agreement.
