Overview

Otiggo builds routes around a starting point, customer constraints, time windows and daily priorities. Drivers can recalculate remaining stops from the depot, a chosen address or their current GPS position, and route-order changes sync between web and mobile. That gives dispatchers and drivers a shared plan when priorities shift.

Routes can include parcels from multiple clients without losing each parcel’s originating carrier. This is useful for subcontractors working across carriers, while teams that need only straightforward routing may not need the broader delivery workflow.

Key features

Routing and field workflows

Time-window planning and automatic reoptimization help account for changing delivery priorities; live technician tracking gives managers visibility into drivers. Route capacity varies substantially by plan: Otiggo Driver supports 15, 200 or 500 stops per route depending on the selected plan, while the stated maximum-stops figure is 100. Those figures do not align, so teams with larger routes should confirm the applicable ceiling before committing.

Scanning and data handling

The mobile app scans manifests, labels and documents to extract addresses and parcel details, which can reduce manual entry in document-heavy operations. Images are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for extraction. Otiggo says images are deleted after processing, subject to temporary technical storage, legal obligations or a setting requiring otherwise. Its privacy policy names HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, restricted access, logging, backups and monitoring among its safeguards. Alvexa says it processes personal data under the GDPR and amended French Data Protection Act.

Vercel is named for hosting and Stripe for payments. These provider and data-handling arrangements matter to businesses assessing operational data flows. The terms do not promise uninterrupted availability or a minimum service level unless a separate contract or special conditions do so.

Pricing

Otiggo is freemium, with a free trial also available. The Gratuit plan costs 0.00 EUR per free and allows one route a day, 15 stops and five AI scans a month. It is a practical starting point for very small workloads, but the scan quota is restrictive for regular document intake.

Basique costs 4.99 EUR per month, billed 39.99 EUR/year, and includes up to 100 stops and 30 days of history. It suits users needing more room than the free allowance, though its history window is limited. Essentiel costs 9.99 EUR per month, billed 77.99 EUR/year, and Pro costs 19.99 EUR per month, billed 155.99 EUR/year; both offer increasing scan quotas. The exact quotas are not provided, so scan-heavy teams should establish whether either tier covers their volume.

Starter costs 149.00 EUR per month, billed 1,430 EUR/year. It includes parcels, manifests, routes, zones and dispatch, carrier and delivery-point tracking, carrier billing, 6,000 AI scans a month and driver access. This is the clearer fit for organized dispatch operations with substantial scanning needs. Complet costs 219.00 EUR per month, billed 2,102 EUR/year, and adds leave, fleet and finance modules to Starter, with driver access and 6,000 AI scans a month plus packs. It is aimed at teams that need those additional operational modules; the extra scan packs may suit demand beyond the included allowance.

Platforms

Otiggo is available on Android, iOS and the web. That combination supports web-based dispatch alongside mobile driver workflows.

Who it's for

Otiggo is best suited to delivery subcontractors, dispatch teams, drivers and managers who need route planning alongside parcel handling, carrier tracking and scanning. It is less compelling for a small operation that needs only a basic route planner, or for teams that require a guaranteed service level without a separate agreement.

Pros and cons

Pros: Web and mobile route synchronization keeps dispatch and drivers aligned as stop order changes.
Pros: Multi-carrier parcel routes preserve each parcel’s carrier identity, useful for subcontracted delivery work.
Pros: Scanning extracts addresses and parcel information, with plans ranging up to 6,000 included AI scans monthly.
Cons: Free use is capped at one route daily, 15 stops and five scans monthly, too tight for sustained workloads.
Cons: Stop ceilings vary by plan, and the stated 100-stop maximum conflicts with the 200- and 500-stop route figures.
Cons: Availability is not guaranteed unless a separate contract or special conditions provide for it.

Alternatives

Routific is worth considering for users who want a free plan covering up to 100 orders a month and all features except SMS notifications.

Routella may fit a small delivery operation that can work within its free plan’s one driver, 50 orders a month and five rounds a month.

Shipday offers a free forever plan for up to 300 orders a month and 10 driver accounts, making it worth comparing for teams prioritizing those allowances.

Verdict

Choose Otiggo if your delivery operation needs dispatch and driver route tools tied to parcel workflows, multi-carrier handling and document scanning. Its integrated planning and scanning are the main reasons to choose it; variable route caps, uncertain scan allowances on the lower paid tiers and no default service-level guarantee are reasons to look elsewhere or confirm terms first.
