Overview

Onro brings dispatch, driver tools, and customer-facing ordering and tracking into one courier operations platform. It suits delivery businesses that need to coordinate varied workflows and keep customers informed; its strongest case is operational breadth, while its Business plan’s 1,500-delivery allowance and extra charges can complicate budgeting.

Founded in 2019, Onro is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. It supports on-demand, scheduled, pickup-only, delivery-only, pickup-and-delivery, hub-based, and multi-stop work, making it a plausible fit for operators with more than one delivery pattern rather than a narrow single-workflow service.

Key features

Dispatch, routes, and drivers

Dispatchers can assign work automatically or manually, monitor orders and drivers in real time, and optimize multi-drop routes. Vehicle dispatch, territory management, and live location tracking add useful operational control. The driver app handles route execution, barcode scanning, proof of delivery by signature or photo, cash on delivery, and earnings tracking, covering both delivery execution and its records.

Customer experience and integrations

Customers can book and track orders through web and mobile apps, receive SMS, email, and WhatsApp updates, chat with the team and drivers, and pay through a payment gateway. That combination can reduce the number of separate touchpoints a delivery business needs to manage, though app publishing carries an additional cost.

Onro’s integrations directory spans 78 connections across payments, SMS, POS, support, CRM, mapping, email, VoIP, automation, and accounting, including Stripe, PayPal, Google Maps, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Custom integrations may require development costs, so businesses relying on a less common system should account for that possibility.

Security and support

Onro says it encrypts data in transit and at rest, does not store passwords in plain text, and offers role-based access groups. It says it does not sell customer data and limits sharing to service vendors; EEA residents can exercise GDPR rights, with responses within a month. For healthcare delivery operations, Onro says it supports HIPAA workflows and will sign a Business Associate Agreement, with role-based access, encryption, optional call masking, and digital proof of delivery.

The company says it provides timely support and releases updates almost monthly. Its help center covers setup, customization, integrations, and troubleshooting, a useful resource for teams configuring a broad operations system.

Pricing

Onro offers a free demo tier and paid plans. The free demo options promise unlimited orders, users, and drivers, all features, and customization, with no credit card required; a separate Free Demo entry also promises unlimited demo use without a card. These are demo offers rather than a stated ongoing production plan, so they are best treated as a way to assess fit before committing.

Business costs 239.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes 1,500 deliveries. That allowance may suit a smaller or moderate operation, but businesses exceeding it should clarify the applicable costs before choosing the plan. App publishing costs extra, and custom integrations may also add development expense.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes everything in Business, plus white-label customer portal, customer apps, and driver apps, custom domains, and removal of Onro branding. It is the relevant option for organizations that need a branded customer and driver experience; a minimal setup fee also applies.

A 14-day trial is offered. The Business price is monthly, and the delivery allowance is the key stated usage limit to weigh against projected volume.

Platforms

Onro supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Its worker mobile app supports field execution, while the web and mobile customer options extend booking and tracking beyond the dispatcher interface.

Who it's for

Onro identifies on-demand delivery firms, food delivery businesses, pickup-and-delivery companies, ecommerce businesses, couriers, beverage businesses, laundries, and pharmacies as potential customers. Its workflow range makes it more compelling for operators juggling different delivery types; a business seeking a simple, low-cost plan without volume or implementation add-ons may find the economics less attractive.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad workflow coverage: on-demand, scheduled, hub-based, pickup-only, delivery-only, pickup-and-delivery, and multi-stop work can fit under one operating model.
Connected delivery lifecycle: dispatcher monitoring, driver proof of delivery, customer tracking, messaging, chat, and payment support span the journey from assignment to receipt.
Wide integration range: 78 integrations, including major payment, mapping, and ecommerce services, can connect delivery operations with other business systems.
Healthcare provisions: stated HIPAA support and willingness to sign a Business Associate Agreement make it relevant to pharmacies and healthcare delivery operations.

Cons

Business volume is capped: the plan includes 1,500 deliveries, so higher-volume operators need to account for additional cost or a different arrangement.
Some deployment costs sit outside the plan: app publishing, custom integrations, and Enterprise setup can add expense.
Branding requires Enterprise: white-label portals and apps, custom domains, and removal of Onro branding are not part of the stated Business inclusions.

Alternatives

For dispatch-focused comparisons, see Dispatch Software; for broader delivery operations, browse Delivery Management Software.

Resgrid is a freemium option with a free plan for up to 10 entities and broad platform support, including Linux, macOS, Windows, and self-hosting; choose it when that entity cap and push notifications or email without SMS suit the operation.
Fieldified has a free tier with scheduling, invoicing, CRM, and reporting, plus a Basic plan at 49.00 USD per month billed for 5 users; it is worth comparing for teams centered on those field-service functions.
Super Dispatch offers a free Carrier TMS Lite plan with a driver app, limited carrier dashboard, and loadboard; consider it when a free carrier-focused starting point is preferable to Onro’s delivery operations scope.
Shipday offers a free-forever Basic plan for up to 300 orders per month and 10 driver accounts, as well as a 14-day full-platform trial without a card; it may fit smaller teams whose order volume sits within that cap.
Haul-IT is another paid option for Android, iOS, and Windows.
Odyssee Field Service starts with an Essential plan at 35.00 EUR per user/month and requires at least three users; compare it when a per-user service plan is a better fit.
Dispatch offers Pro at 139.00 USD per month for suggested teams of 1–10 users, with unlimited jobs and appointments; it may suit teams prioritizing that stated job and appointment capacity.
Reliance Corrective Action is another paid option for Android, iOS, and web.

Verdict

Onro is a strong candidate for delivery businesses that need dispatch, driver execution, and customer tracking across multiple delivery models, particularly where healthcare support or integrations matter. Choose it when that breadth justifies a 239.00 USD monthly Business plan and its 1,500-delivery allowance; look elsewhere if the cap, added publishing and integration costs, or Enterprise-only branding do not fit your budget or requirements.
