Overview

Solvely is an AI study suite for students who want homework support, exam preparation, and lecture-note tools in one service. It is best suited to learners who work from a mix of questions and course materials; its main caveat is that its answers need independent checking.

Key features

Homework and explanations

The solver accepts typed questions, photos, and PDFs, then provides worked, step-by-step solutions across subjects. Cross-checking with multiple AI models and visual or video explanations—including calculus graphs and physics simulations—can help learners follow an approach rather than just receive an answer. But multiple-model checking is not a guarantee: Solvely advises users to verify outputs and disclaims their accuracy, completeness, and suitability.

Exam and course preparation

Users can upload notes and past exams to produce likely-topic predictions, mock exams, cheat sheets, and review plans. Slides, PDFs, and YouTube links can also become topic breakdowns, study guides, flashcards, and adaptive quizzes. This range is useful for turning existing class materials into practice, though learners should treat predicted topics as a study aid, not a substitute for course guidance.

Lecture notes and access

Live recording creates searchable transcripts, AI-generated notes, and study sets from lectures. The Android and iOS apps scan math, physics, and chemistry problems and explain college math questions. The Chrome extension captures question screenshots and works with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Google Classroom, and other websites. It is free to install, but some features or higher usage limits may depend on the account or plan.

Pricing

Solvely has a free plan and a free trial. The named NPro-Weekly, Pro-Monthly, and All Year Access plans have custom pricing.

Solvely Unlimited — 12 months: 4.83 USD per year, billed $57.99/year. Includes unlimited models and features, a 3-day free trial, and cancellation anytime. The annual commitment is the lowest stated monthly equivalent, but the trial is brief.
Solvely Unlimited — 1 month: 8.99 USD per month, billed $8.99 monthly. Includes unlimited models and features; its monthly billing suits those who prefer not to commit for a year.
Solvely Unlimited — 3 months: 11.66 USD per month, billed $34.99 every 3 months. Includes unlimited models and features, with a shorter commitment than the annual plan but a higher monthly equivalent.

Paid unlimited plans are the clear option for higher usage, while the extension’s free installation alone does not ensure access to every feature.

Platforms

Solvely is available on Android, iOS, the web, and as a browser extension. That spread suits students moving between mobile problem capture, course websites, and browser-based study, though some extension access may depend on the plan.

Who it's for

Solvely targets post-secondary, college-bound, and professional learners. Its combination of problem solving, material conversion, exam practice, and lecture capture makes it most compelling for students juggling several study workflows. It is not directed at children under 13.

Pros and cons

Pro: Accepts photos, PDFs, and typed problems, making it practical for questions in different formats.
Pro: Combines homework help, exam resources, flashcards, quizzes, and searchable lecture notes rather than focusing on one study task.
Pro: Multiple-model cross-checking and visual explanations offer ways to examine how an answer is reached.
Con: AI outputs are not guaranteed accurate or complete, so important answers require verification.
Con: The free plan’s caps and the prices of several named plans are unclear, making it harder to judge how far free use will go or compare those plans.
Con: Some extension features or higher usage limits may require a particular account or plan.

Alternatives

For a narrower tool, choose by task: Math Solver Apps for math-focused options, Homework Help Software or AI Homework Helpers for homework support, AI Study Tools for study workflows, or AI Citation Generators for citation work.

Paperpal is a freemium web and extension option for research and writing needs, with a Prime plan at 12.00 USD per year, billed $144 a year ($12/month; billed annually). PDFSimpli is a freemium choice for PDF work across Linux, macOS, Windows, and web. Verdict

Solvely is a strong fit for post-secondary students who want one service to turn problems, course materials, and lectures into explanations and study aids. Its breadth is the main reason to choose it; readers who need dependable answers without checking them, or who need clear free-plan caps and straightforward pricing across every plan, should look elsewhere.
