Overview

LookX is aimed at design work rather than general-purpose image creation, with proprietary architectural models and support for sketch input and image-to-image workflows. Gen4 combines image-generation and chat workflows, with image generation described as producing 1K output. That makes LookX relevant for visual exploration, though the stated output may not suit users who need higher-resolution generated images.

The company says its architectural model was trained on more than 10,000,000 data items and over 10,000 hours of GPU training. Its Intellectual Property Infringement Assistant compares image similarity to help assess copyright risks and protect corporate rights. That can inform review of generated work, but it is not a guarantee of copyright clearance.

Key features

LookX combines real-time and video generation with custom model training, style adapters, image upscaling and one-click duplication. Vocabulary templates and a prompt assistant offer additional ways to guide image creation. This range is useful for designers who want to iterate on architectural visuals in one platform; teams that need other kinds of creative software may find the architecture focus too narrow.

SketchUp and Rhino plugins connect LookX to two established design applications, while its no-code approach is intended for designers across skill levels. Team Work adds secured cloud storage for centralized project files, real-time sharing and access to project assets. Shared, customizable team models can be used in the cloud, and Private Model Agora offers restricted access and advanced security. These team tools address collaboration and model protection, but they are part of the $269.00 USD per month Team plan rather than the $20.00 USD per month individual subscription.

Deployment options include public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premises setups. Custom solutions can also include API access, model customization, advanced security and compliance, and enterprise-wide support. Team customers can receive tutorials, enterprise training, consulting and human customer service.

Pricing

The Basic plan is free and includes 100 images, with generation, training and other tasks using the normal lane. It is a practical starting point for occasional use, but the image cap and standard lane make it less suited to sustained production.

The Monthly subscription costs $20.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes unlimited image generations, 580 per month for model training, upscaling and advanced features, and Lightning Lane. The Annual subscription costs $199.00 USD per year, billed yearly, with the same listed allowances and Lightning Lane; the plan states a 17% saving. Annual billing lowers the cost for a committed solo user, while monthly billing offers more flexibility.

The Team plan costs $269.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes five seats, 3000 shared X-credits per month, unlimited image generations, Super Lightning Lane, a team cloud drive and team models agora. Its shared credits and collaboration tools suit a small practice, though its price is a substantial step up from an individual plan.

Custom solutions use custom pricing and can include custom credit amounts, model customizations, advanced security and compliance, enterprise-wide support, private cloud and API access. The Education Plan also has custom pricing, with educational discounts, course-aligned customization, faculty and student training, technical support and collaborative assessment. LookX offers a 7-day trial, but no additional trial terms are stated.

Platforms

LookX runs on the web and offers plugins for SketchUp and Rhino. Its deployment options span public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premises, giving organizations choices beyond a standard public-cloud setup.

Who it's for

LookX is a strong fit for architecture, interior and landscape designers who want AI-assisted visual iteration, sketch and image workflows, and a connection to SketchUp or Rhino. The free plan suits light exploration; the individual subscriptions suit designers who need more generations and faster lanes. Practices that need shared project storage, protected team models or controlled deployment should consider Team or custom solutions. It is less compelling for users who need higher-resolution image generation or a general-purpose creative platform.

Pros and cons

Pros: Architectural focus, SketchUp and Rhino plugins, sketch and image-to-image workflows, and a free plan capped at 100 images give design professionals a clear way to explore the platform.
Pros: Unlimited image generations on paid individual plans and team tools for shared files and protected models support ongoing and collaborative work.
Pros: Private cloud, hybrid, on-premises and public-cloud deployment options provide flexibility for organizations with different infrastructure needs.
Cons: Gen4 image output is described as 1K, which may fall short for users who require higher-resolution generated images.
Cons: Team costs $269.00 USD per month, while custom and education pricing require a separate quote; advanced collaboration and enterprise options therefore demand more commitment than solo access.

Alternatives

Verdict

Choose LookX AI if your work centers on architectural visuals and you want image-generation tools connected to SketchUp or Rhino, with a path from solo use to protected team workflows. Its architecture focus and deployment options are the strongest reasons to choose it; the 1K image output and sharp price increase for team features are the main reasons to look elsewhere.
