Overview

LoginTC is a multi-factor authentication platform for organizations adding a second factor to applications and systems. It is best suited to teams that need broad connector and deployment choices, including on-premises or air-gapped operation. Its range of authentication methods is compelling, but paid subscriptions require at least 15 users.

Key features

LoginTC offers push authentication, number matching, authenticator apps and software OTP, hardware tokens, security keys, email and SMS passcodes, phone calls, passcode grids and bypass codes. Business includes offline authentication, including offline QR scanning among its supported factors. That choice helps organizations accommodate different access needs; however, readers who need offline access should compare plan features rather than assume every tier includes it.

Connectors cover RADIUS VPN and remote access, Active Directory/LDAP, Outlook Web App, RD Web Access, ADFS, Windows Logon and RDP, and Entra ID EAM for Office 365. Other integration methods include SAML/SSO, iframe authentication and REST API. The API can administer users, tokens and domain membership and send or check authentication sessions, but it applies only to LoginTC Cloud deployments.

Cloud, on-premises, hybrid and air-gapped deployment options give organizations flexibility over where the service runs. LoginTC also supports adaptive access policies, passwordless authentication and device trust controls. It has been ISO 27001 certified since 2023.

Pricing

Cloud Starter is free for up to 3 users and includes VPN and firewall protection plus push authentication. It is a practical fit for a very small team evaluating a limited deployment, but the three-user cap makes it unsuitable for a larger organization.

Cloud Professional costs 3.00 USD per month, Cloud Business 5.00 USD per month, and On-Premises Managed 7.00 USD per month; each is billed annually. Paid plans have a 15-user minimum, with licenses added in bundles of five. That minimum is the main cost hurdle for small teams, and annual billing is less flexible than a monthly subscription. Business is the tier to consider when offline authentication matters; On-Premises Managed fits organizations needing managed on-premises deployment.

A 15-day free trial provides access to Business features and requires no credit card. Standard support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST, with 24/7/365 support for critical issues.

Platforms

LoginTC supports Android, iOS, web, Windows, browser extensions, APIs and self-hosted deployments. This mix accommodates mobile users as well as organizations connecting authentication to desktop and server access systems.

Who it's for

LoginTC is a strong fit for organizations that need MFA across established access systems and want cloud, on-premises, hybrid or air-gapped deployment. Its range of factors and connectors can serve varied environments, from small businesses to large enterprises, including healthcare, finance and government. Teams with fewer than 15 users that need a paid plan should weigh the minimum carefully; the free tier stops at three users.

Pros and cons

Broad authentication choice: Push, OTP, tokens, passcodes, phone calls and security keys let organizations support different user and access requirements.
Flexible deployment: Cloud, on-premises, hybrid and air-gapped options suit organizations with different infrastructure constraints.
Useful enterprise connectors: RADIUS, directory, Windows and Microsoft integrations cover common access systems, while the REST API extends administration for cloud deployments.
Small free tier: Cloud Starter covers only three users and push authentication, limiting its usefulness beyond evaluation or a very small team.
Paid-plan commitment: A 15-user minimum, five-license bundles and annual billing can make a paid deployment disproportionate for a small group.

Alternatives

Multi-Factor Authentication Software and Authenticator apps are useful starting points for comparing the broader categories.

Choose miniOrange Multi-Factor Authentication if a paid option with a free plan and a $2.00 per month Essential tier better matches your budget. LinOTP is worth considering if you want free, open-source MFA under AGPLv3 and GPLv2, with Linux support. Duo Mobile offers a free plan for 10 users, while its Duo Essentials plan is $3.00 per month and includes phishing-resistant MFA and passwordless authentication.

HYPR Authenticate is another paid option, with a $3.00 per month Identity Assurance Access plan. Deepnet DualShield MFA Platform is an alternative for on-premises or private-cloud deployment with custom pricing. Imprivata Enterprise Access Management uses modular licensing, with Core Access required for every deployment.

Rublon Authenticator has a free plan for one user and a $2.00 per month Business plan with a 15-license minimum. Secret Double Octopus is another paid alternative, with Starter covering cloud/web applications, VPN and VDI.

Verdict

Choose LoginTC if your organization needs multiple authentication methods, established access-system connectors and the option to deploy beyond the cloud. Its strongest case is the combination of breadth and deployment flexibility; look elsewhere if you need a low-commitment paid plan for fewer than 15 users or want to avoid annual billing.
