Overview

Rentberry combines rental search with tools for both sides of a tenancy: renters can request tours and negotiate offers, while landlords can handle applications, screening requests, lease signing, rent collection, and maintenance. Renters can search listings across more than 90 countries. The platform is available on Android, iOS, and the web; its mobile apps include offer negotiation, maintenance requests, and e-signing.

Key features

Search and listing

Landlords can list properties for free, add custom amenities, and use an AI generator to draft descriptions from listing details. Listings expire automatically after 30 days, so owners need to refresh them to keep them active. There is no stated property-count cap, but businesses with more than 100 properties are directed to contact Rentberry, and uploading more than 10 properties at once requires arranging a bulk upload through customer service.

US landlords can pay for promotion and syndication across major rental platforms. Network channel coverage, inquiry management, and showing scheduling make Rentberry more than a static listing page, but the $49.99 monthly charge for promotion and syndication is a meaningful extra cost for owners who need that reach.

Applications and tenancy

Rentberry supports online applications, tour scheduling, rent negotiation, e-signing, payments, maintenance requests, and tenant screening. The free tenant plan includes negotiation, tour requests, maintenance requests, support, and e-signing with cloud storage; the landlord free plan includes listings, maintenance tracking, support, and screening requests in the US. That breadth is useful for keeping routine rental tasks together, though some services carry separate fees.

US screening reports are powered by TransUnion. Rentberry uses Dropbox Sign for legally binding online rental documents. Landlords set up Stripe to collect rent; Stripe's payout fee varies by the bank account's country. Rentberry says personal-information transmissions use SSL encryption and cautions that no electronic storage or internet transmission method is completely secure. Customer support is available 24/7 by email at support@rentberry.com.

Pricing

Rentberry uses a freemium model, with no free trial. Its free plans are useful starting points, but paid services are priced separately rather than bundled into a single comprehensive subscription.

Tenants — Free: 0.00 USD per free. Includes rent negotiation, 24/7 support, maintenance requests, property tour requests, eSign, and cloud data storage. A tenant application costs 9.99 USD per once.
Landlords — Free: 0.00 USD per free. Includes property listing, 24/7 support, maintenance request tracking, and tenant screening requests in the US. eSign and cloud data storage costs 19.99 USD per once; rent collection costs 19.99 USD per once.
Tenant insurance: 11.00 USD per month, billed from $11/mo.
Property agent/broker fee: 24.99 USD per month, billed $24.99/mo.
Credit and background check: 39.99 USD per once for both reports, US only.
Property promotion and syndication: 49.99 USD per month, billed $49.99/mo, for a promoted listing and partner website syndication.

The free tiers suit tenants and individual landlords who can work within the included functions. Landlords should budget separately for signing, collection, or screening services they need; US listing promotion is the largest recurring listed fee. Stripe's payout charge is separate and depends on the country of the landlord's bank account.

Platforms

Rentberry is available on Android, iOS, and the web. Its mobile apps include custom-offer negotiations, maintenance requests, and e-signing, while the platform's rental workflow spans search, listing, and tenancy tasks.

Who it's for

Rentberry is a reasonable fit for tenants seeking listings and a digital application-to-lease workflow, and for individual landlords who want free listing tools plus maintenance and screening-request management. Property managers, agents, and brokers are also among its intended users. High-volume operators should consider the customer-service arrangements for bulk uploads and portfolios over 100 properties before relying on it as their listing workflow.

Pros and cons

Pro: Free plans cover useful tasks on both sides of a tenancy, including tenant negotiation and landlord listing and maintenance tracking.
Pro: Search and rental workflow features span tour requests, applications, e-signing, payments, and maintenance rather than stopping at listing discovery.
Pro: Landlords can add any number of properties, with paid US syndication offered for broader listing distribution.
Con: Listings expire after 30 days, requiring landlords to renew them to maintain visibility.
Con: Bulk uploads over 10 properties and businesses over 100 properties require contacting Rentberry, adding coordination for larger operators.
Con: Signing, rent collection, screening, and promotion can add separate charges beyond the free landlord plan.
