Overview

LatitudeLearning brings role-based onboarding, product and operational training, certification, compliance management, and progress tracking into one system. Administrators can organize programs across organizations, brands, geographies, field teams, and partner networks. Skills profiles, accreditation, and individual or organizational performance metrics can inform training assignments and evaluation, making the platform more useful than a simple course-completion tracker for distributed programs.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Saline, Michigan, LatitudeLearning says its LMS has been used by more than 3 million people across 3,000 organizations. That experience aligns with its extended-enterprise focus; a small team training only its own employees may find the network-administration breadth unnecessary.

Key features

Training and credentialing: Course authoring, assessments, certificates, and custom branding support programs that need to create, deliver, and recognize training across a partner network.
AI learning assistance: The learning assistant retrieves approved company resources to provide contextual operational guidance. AI course tools include study guides, course-specific coaches, and assisted assessment generation. These tools are most relevant when organizations have approved internal material and recurring training needs.
Access and integrations: Standard, new, and custom third-party connectors support user access management, while standard and custom single sign-on can provide one-click access from third-party applications. Custom connector pricing is available by contact, so organizations with specialized integration needs should budget for a separate discussion.
Dedicated instance: A dedicated environment can be tailored to a customer's geolocation and security needs, with its own database and system administrator tools. That degree of control may matter to organizations with specific operational requirements, but it is more infrastructure than a smaller program may need.
Support resources: The support center serves administrators, managers, instructors, and students, and includes release notes and FAQs.

Pricing

LatitudeLearning is paid, with no free plan. User-license and enrollment-license prices are based on a three-year contract billed annually, so the per-year figures should not be mistaken for a short-term commitment. The pricing model offers two ways to size a program: by active users or by annual enrollments.

User licenses

The user-license tiers cover active users, with the listed per-year price decreasing as the licensed band grows:

100 users: 11.25 USD per year for 100 active users.
101–1,000 users: 10.75 USD per year for 101–1,000 active users.
1,001–5,000 users: 9.40 USD per year for 1,001–5,000 active users.
5,001–10,000 users: 8.65 USD per year for 5,001–10,000 active users.
10,001–25,000 users: 7.90 USD per year for 10,001–25,000 active users.
25,001–50,000 users: 7.15 USD per year for 25,001–50,000 active users.
Over 50,000 users: custom pricing.

The bands make user-based budgeting legible for a large network, but the model ties cost to active-user scale rather than enrollments. Organizations with many occasional learners should compare it with enrollment licensing before choosing.

Enrollment licenses

Enrollment plans use annual enrollment bands; the listed tiers below are also based on a three-year contract billed annually:

100–1,000 annual enrollments: 5.35 USD per year.
1,001–5,000 annual enrollments: 4.85 USD per year.
5,001–10,000 annual enrollments: 4.30 USD per year.
10,001–25,000 annual enrollments: 3.30 USD per year per enrollment, with unlimited active users.

The unlimited-active-user provision in the 10,001–25,000 enrollment tier is useful when a large population participates intermittently. Smaller enrollment bands do not state that same unlimited-user provision, so programs should match their expected activity and enrollment volume to the applicable license terms.

Implementation

SurefireSetup packages add a substantial one-time planning consideration: Express costs $5,000, Standard costs $20,000, and Advanced costs $40,000. Their implementation durations and capabilities differ. Buyers should assess the package alongside the license, particularly when rollout spans multiple organizations or geographies.

Platforms

LatitudeLearning supports web access and an API. The API is relevant for organizations connecting the LMS to other systems, while web access covers browser-based administration and learning.

Who it's for

LatitudeLearning is best suited to companies that need to train people outside their own employee base, especially across franchise, dealer, distributor, and partner networks. Role-based learning, accreditation, certification, and organizational performance measures support programs where responsibilities differ by location or partner. It is a weaker fit for small teams seeking a lightweight course library or a commitment shorter than three years.

Pros and cons

Pros:
- Network-aware administration spans organizations, brands, geographies, and learner roles, which suits extended-enterprise training better than a single-team setup.
- Skills profiles and performance metrics can support assignment and evaluation beyond basic completion tracking.
- Course authoring, assessments, certificates, and custom branding cover core needs for a structured training program.
- Enrollment licensing includes unlimited active users in the 10,001–25,000 annual enrollment tier, which can suit high-participation networks with many occasional learners.
Cons:
- The three-year contract basis reduces flexibility for organizations still validating a training program.
- Implementation packages range from $5,000 to $40,000, adding a meaningful cost before considering the license.
- The broad network focus may be unnecessary overhead for a small internal training operation.

Alternatives

For organizations comparing extended-enterprise and partner training options, see Customer Education Software, Partner Training Software, and Learning Management Systems.

Continu is another paid LMS option, with Growth for under 1,000 monthly active users and Professional for 1,000–5,000; consider it when its broad platform coverage better matches your needs.
SkyPrep offers paid plans with a free trial and Lite and Premium tiers for 100 active users with unlimited courses; consider it when a trial and a defined 100-user course allowance are useful.
AcademyOcean has an Essential plan at 250.00 USD per month with an editor, quizzes, certification, AI tools, SCORM, learner groups, reports, and a mobile learner interface; choose it when those bundled capabilities and monthly pricing are a better match.
Thought Industries is another paid learning platform with a Starter plan; consider it as an alternative if you are evaluating other options.
Peerfold offers paid plans and a free trial; consider it as an alternative if you are evaluating other options.
Teachable starts with Starter at 39.00 USD per month for 5 products and a 7.5% transaction fee; Builder is 89.00 USD per month for 10 products and a 0% transaction fee. It is the clearer option when a product-count and transaction-fee model suits your program better.
Academy of Mine offers Professional at 999.00 USD per month, including core features, 24-7 helpdesk support, and a Premium Customer Success team; consider it when that stated support package is a priority.
Acadle has a Basic Plan at 39.00 USD per month for 200 users, 10GB storage, and 2 members, or Essential Plan at 99.00 USD per month for 500 users, 50GB storage, and 10 members; choose it when those explicit user, storage, and member limits suit the program.

Verdict

LatitudeLearning is a strong candidate for organizations coordinating role-based training, credentials, and performance across franchise, dealer, distributor, or partner networks. Its network administration and enrollment-based option for unlimited active users in the 10,001–25,000 band are compelling reasons to shortlist it. Look elsewhere if a short commitment, modest implementation spend, or a simpler internal LMS matters more than extended-enterprise controls.
