Overview

Trips take shape on an interactive map: travelers can add stops together in real time, then organize transport, attractions, restaurants, tours and notes. Reservation imports and expense splitting extend that shared itinerary beyond route planning. That makes Lambus a practical fit for groups juggling plans and costs, rather than just travelers who want a simple list of stops.

Users can also find offers through partners such as GetYourGuide and Omio. PRO adds automatic currency conversion and flight updates, while a set of AI assistants can help create itineraries, add destinations, find places, track expenses, manage bookings and take notes through the AI Connector. Its availability and plan support may change as the assistants roll out MCP features.

Key features

Collaborative itinerary: Plan on a map and add trip stops in real time, with room for transport, activities, dining and notes. Shared editing suits group coordination; the feature set also accommodates solo itineraries.
Reservations and costs: Import booking documents and split group expenses. This keeps logistics and shared spending alongside the route rather than in separate trip records.
PRO trip tools: Offline access, calendar sync, PDF and expense exports, Google Maps place search, currency conversion and real-time flight updates address needs that become more important on complex or active trips.
Private documents: PRO can keep sensitive items such as passports or driver's licenses on the device, secured with biometrics rather than sent to the cloud.
Storage and privacy: Lambus describes PRO storage as unlimited for photos, bookings and PDFs. It says personal data is transmitted with TLS encryption and website data is stored in Frankfurt am Main, while cautioning that absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Its privacy policy identifies Google Firebase, Crashlytics and Google Maps integrations, as well as PayPal for settling expenses between travelers.

Pricing

The free Lambus (basic) plan costs 0.00 USD per free and provides the basic platform; PRO features are separate. It is a sensible starting point for travelers who want to organize trips before deciding whether offline access, exports or other upgrades justify paying.

PRO for One Year costs 24.99 EUR per year, billed €24,99 as a one-time gift purchase for one year of PRO. PRO features apply to all trips during that upgrade period. This is a defined-term option for someone who wants premium tools for a year without a recurring subscription. PRO for Lifetime costs 99.99 EUR per once, billed €99,99 one-time, but the option is marked sold out.

Lambus PRO yearly subscription and Lambus PRO monthly subscription have custom pricing: the amount depends on local currency and selected package. The yearly subscription is described as offering additional savings versus monthly. Both apply PRO features to the whole trip, including friends traveling with you, which makes the upgrade more compelling for a group than a per-person feature set would be. The pricing note also mentions a 30-day trial; the subscription plans' stated prices are custom pricing.

Platforms

Lambus is available on Android, iOS and the web, with web as its primary platform. Offline trip access is a PRO feature, useful when a traveler cannot rely on a connection during a trip.

Who it's for

Choose Lambus if you want one shared place for route planning, bookings and group expenses, or if offline trip access and private on-device document storage matter enough to pay for PRO. Its business-trip use cases include keeping appointments and hotel information with trip details. It is less compelling if you only need a basic itinerary and do not expect to use the paid tools.

Pros and cons

Pro: Collaborative map planning, booking imports and expense splitting connect the main parts of a group trip.
Pro: PRO combines offline access, calendar sync, exports and flight updates, while private documents can remain on-device behind biometrics.
Pro: PRO features apply to the whole trip, including friends traveling with the subscriber.
Con: Offline access and several practical trip-management tools require PRO, so the free plan may not cover travelers who need them.
Con: Monthly and yearly subscription prices depend on local currency and package, making the subscription cost less predictable than the fixed one-year gift purchase.

Alternatives

Browse more options in Travel Itinerary Apps. TREK is a free alternative for people who want self-hosting: it is free for personal and internal company use under AGPL-3.0. Choose TripIt if document limits suit your needs: its free plan allows three uploads per trip, while TripIt Pro costs 49.00 USD per year and allows 25.

Pilot is another free option, with route and map tools, reservation import and real-time collaboration. Stippl may suit travelers who want unlimited trips, destinations, co-planners, expenses and journal entries in its free plan, along with AI generation, PDF export and calendar sync. TripCraftr offers unlimited trips and invitees free, with five documents and five Lorenzo replies per day on the nearest trip.

Pappus Travel Planner is a free option for travelers looking for broad platform support. Wanderlog offers a free website and app with unlimited trips and collaborators; its Pro subscription is paid. tabiori is another freemium option with broad platform support.

Verdict

Lambus is a strong choice for groups that want to plan together, import reservations and settle shared costs without scattering trip details across tools. PRO is the reason to choose it when offline access, exports, flight updates or private document storage matter, and whole-trip coverage can benefit the group. Look elsewhere if you need only a basic itinerary or want a subscription price you can know in advance.
