Overview

Krikey turns prompts or uploaded videos into 3D character animations, then lets users refine them in a browser editor. You can create talking avatars, customize characters and poses, and adjust lip-synced dialogue, expressions, gestures, backgrounds and camera angles. That editing range is valuable when a generated scene needs shaping rather than simply exporting as-is.

Exports include MP4, GIF, PNG and FBX. Krikey also lists integrations and export workflows for Canva, Adobe Express, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Roblox, Blender, Maya, ZBrush and Omniverse, giving its output routes into both media and 3D production workflows. Its ElevenLabs integration supports speaking and singing characters in over 20 languages with lip synchronization. The central creative limit is that animation currently covers bipedal characters only.

Key features

Prompt and video animation: Generate 3D character animations from text or an uploaded video. Having both starting points suits creators building a scene from an idea or existing motion, but neither removes the bipedal-character constraint.
Character and scene editing: Customize avatars and poses, and refine dialogue, facial expressions, hand gestures, backgrounds and camera angles. This makes Krikey more suited to iterating on a character scene than a generation-only workflow.
Multiple export formats: MP4, GIF and PNG cover common visual output, while FBX supports 3D workflows. The named integrations extend those possible destinations, though the product's stated integration list does not establish that every workflow behaves identically.
Simultaneous team editing: Teams can edit projects together in the web-based 3D editor. This is a practical advantage for collaborative work, while the Teams plan's three-person minimum makes it less tailored to a pair or solo user seeking its per-person credit allowance.
Voice and language support: The ElevenLabs integration supports speaking and singing characters in over 20 languages with lip synchronization. Krikey also identifies voice cloning as a capability, making the voice tools relevant to character-led content.
Education and security: Krikey describes use by K-12 classrooms, educators and students and says the platform is designed for student safety. Its about page lists SOC2 Type II certification, and its footer says the platform is FERPA and COPPA certified.

Pricing

Krikey is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans billed monthly. Credits are the key constraint to compare: the free allowance is one-time, while the paid plans provide monthly credits.

Plan	Price	Allowance and terms	Best fit
Krikey AI Free	0.00 USD per free	20 one-time credits	Trying the workflow or handling occasional work within a fixed credit pool.
Krikey AI Pro	15.00 USD per month	165 monthly credits	Individual creators who need a recurring allowance without a team minimum.
Krikey AI Teams	10.00 USD per month	Minimum 3 people; 200 monthly credits per person	Teams of at least three who can use the shared collaborative editor and per-person monthly allocation.
Krikey AI Enterprise	Custom pricing	Longer video uploads, multiple license management, automated provisioning and SOC 2 Type 2 certification	Organizations that need those enterprise provisions rather than a standard individual plan.

The free plan is the lowest-commitment way to explore Krikey, but its 20 credits do not renew monthly. Pro offers a continuing monthly allowance, while Teams costs less per person at the stated price but requires at least three people. Enterprise uses custom pricing and adds longer uploads and license and provisioning controls.

Platforms

Krikey is available on Android, iOS and the web. Its browser-based editor is the clearest fit for project editing and simultaneous collaboration; the mobile platform availability gives users additional device options.

Who it's for

Krikey is a strong match for storytellers, educators, businesses, social media teams, marketing agencies, small businesses and indie game developers whose work centers on animated bipedal characters. The editing controls and export formats make it especially relevant when a scene needs revision or must move into a named media or 3D workflow. Educators may also value its stated focus on student safety and its FERPA and COPPA certifications.

Look elsewhere if the project depends on non-bipedal character animation, or if a one-time credit pool is too restrictive and recurring monthly credits do not fit the budget. Solo users should also compare Pro with Teams carefully: the latter's per-person price comes with a three-person minimum.

Pros and cons

Pros

Generation plus substantive editing: Prompts or video can start an animation, and users can then revise dialogue, expressions, gestures and camera angles.
Useful output range: MP4, GIF, PNG and FBX, alongside a broad named integration and export-workflow list, support media and 3D destinations.
Team and voice capabilities: Simultaneous editing, lip-synced speech and singing across over 20 languages support collaborative, character-led projects.

Cons

Bipedal characters only: This rules out Krikey for animation projects whose characters do not fit that form.
Free credits are one-time: The 20-credit plan is useful for trying the service, but it does not provide a recurring monthly allowance.
Teams requires at least three people: Small pairs and solo creators cannot use the plan on its stated minimum-seat terms.

Verdict

Choose Krikey AI if you need to generate and refine bipedal 3D character scenes, especially for collaborative, educational or character-led media work. Its browser editor, export formats and voice capabilities are the main reasons to choose it; the bipedal-only scope and one-time free credits are the clearest reasons to look elsewhere.
