Overview

KORA brings tutoring, revision, mock exams, and weekly planning into one workspace. Students can ask typed questions or upload materials to build study activities around their courses. That breadth suits learners who want a single tool for organizing independent study; those looking for instruction from a human tutor should consider a different approach.

The listed subjects include math, physics, chemistry, biology, English, economics, computer science, and history. The app supports English, Dutch, French, and German. KORA says user data is encrypted and isolated, is not shared or sold, and is handled in compliance with GDPR.

Key features

Turn course materials into revision

Students can upload PDFs, images, and text files, or provide website URLs. KORA extracts content to create lessons, quizzes, and flashcards, which makes the app particularly relevant to learners who want to practice from their own course resources. Generated flashcards use spaced repetition, supporting repeated review rather than one-off cramming.

Explanations and exam practice

The AI tutor provides step-by-step explanations for typed questions or questions based on uploaded material. Exam Prep assesses strengths and weaknesses, estimates readiness, and creates timed mock exams with question navigation. Together, these tools cover both understanding and practice, though students seeking a dedicated course for one subject may prefer a more focused product.

Weekly planning

The AI Study Planner builds a weekly schedule around upcoming exams, subjects, and learning goals. That can help students coordinate revision across several classes; its value depends on learners wanting a generated plan as part of their study routine.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and provides a way to start without a subscription. KORA Pro is billed €29.99/year for unlimited access, making it the option for students who want the full service without a usage ceiling. The free plan is the lower-commitment choice, while Pro’s annual term is less suited to someone seeking a monthly commitment.

Platforms

KORA Tutor is web-only, so it works through a browser rather than a native Android or iOS app. It supports image input and voice tutoring, alongside typed questions and document uploads. Students who want a dedicated mobile app should look elsewhere.

Who it's for

KORA is aimed at high school, college, and university students. It is most useful for self-directed learners who have course materials to revise, study multiple subjects, and want explanations, practice, and scheduling in one place. It is less suitable for students who prioritize native mobile access or want a subject-specific course rather than tools for working with their own materials.

Pros and cons

Pros: Uploads can generate several kinds of study material, giving students a way to turn existing course content into lessons, quizzes, and flashcards.
Pros: Spaced repetition, timed mock exams, and weekly planning address ongoing revision as well as exam practice.
Pros: A free plan lets students begin without paying, while Pro offers unlimited access for €29.99/year.
Cons: Web-only access rules it out for students who require a native mobile app.
Cons: The paid option is annual, so it is not a fit for readers who want a monthly subscription.
