Overview

The product connects RFQs, reverse auctions and supplier shortlisting with award handoff into contract management and procurement. Its controls and audit records suit formal sourcing processes, while tailored evaluations and custom pricing make it a considered purchase rather than a low-friction option for smaller teams.

Key features

Run and compare sourcing events

Teams can send RFQs to multiple vendors, track responses and compare quotes side by side using weighted criteria. This gives buyers a consistent basis for evaluating offers. Reverse auctions add time limits, floor prices and live bid monitoring, and the winning bid can be converted to a purchase order. These tools fit competitive purchasing; organizations with straightforward buying needs may find the sourcing depth unnecessary.

Screen suppliers and carry awards forward

KYC-verified vendor shortlists, blacklist checks before RFQ dispatch, and tracking for debarred or suspended vendors support supplier controls before an event begins. An award can create a contract draft pre-populated with vendor, pricing, scope and sourcing details, reducing the manual handoff between sourcing and contract management.

Keep a record and connect systems

Sourcing actions are logged with timestamps and user details, and events can be exported as PDF or Excel. Listed integrations include SAP ECC and S/4HANA, Oracle EBS, Fusion and JD Edwards, as well as identity and workplace tools. The maker lists 400+ REST API endpoints with JWT authentication and OpenAPI documentation, useful for organizations integrating sourcing into existing systems.

The security page states that sensitive data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and data in transit uses TLS 1.2 or higher. The maker lists ISO 9001, SOX, IASB/IFRS, STPI, SEZ, GST/ITC and CIPS-related support or alignment. These credentials and controls will matter to procurement teams with formal requirements, though buyers should confirm fit for their own policies during evaluation.

Pricing

ProcurePulse is paid, with custom pricing and no free plan or free trial. Evaluations use a proof of concept tailored to the customer’s workflows and data; most take 2–3 weeks. That gives buyers a way to assess fit in context, but it is a longer route than a self-serve trial.

Plan	What it includes	Best fit
Starter	Up to 100 users, core procurement, asset registration and tracking, basic reporting with 10+ reports, email support, cloud hosting and standard onboarding. Custom pricing.	Organizations needing core procurement and asset tracking without the full sourcing feature set.
Professional	Unlimited users, the full Source-to-Retire lifecycle, RFQs and reverse auctions, advanced reporting with 25+ reports, priority support, ERP and SAP integrations, and API access with 400+ endpoints. Custom pricing.	Teams that need sourcing events and broader lifecycle coverage with integrations and API access.
Enterprise	Everything in Professional, plus custom workflows, multi-entity and multi-currency support, an on-premise option, a 99.9% uptime SLA, custom integrations and API, and an AI Assistant. Custom pricing.	Organizations requiring deployment choice, tailored integrations or multi-entity workflows.

Starter caps usage at 100 users and omits the RFQs, reverse auctions, ERP integrations and API access specified for Professional. Professional removes the user cap; Enterprise adds deployment and workflow options alongside the stated uptime SLA. All three plans require a pricing discussion, so buyers should confirm costs and terms before committing.

Platforms

The product is listed for Android, iOS, macOS, web and API. Its mobile page gives minimum versions of iOS 14+, Android 8+ and macOS 12+.

Who it's for

ProcurePulse is a strong fit for procurement teams running structured sourcing events that need weighted comparisons, supplier screening, auditable actions and a path from award to contract and purchase order. It is less suitable for buyers who need a free plan, published prices or a short trial before choosing software.

Pros and cons

Pros: Weighted quote comparisons and auction controls support disciplined competition across vendors.
Pros: Supplier checks and timestamped audit records address control and traceability needs.
Pros: Award-to-contract handoff and broad ERP/API options connect sourcing to downstream systems.
Cons: No free plan or trial means buyers must enter a tailored evaluation to assess fit.
Cons: Custom pricing across plans makes cost comparison harder before engaging with the vendor.
Cons: Starter lacks the RFQs and reverse auctions that define the sourcing capability.

Alternatives

Coupa Supplier Portal is worth considering when a free supplier-facing option is the priority: its free plan covers purchase orders, invoicing, supplier information exchange, shipment tracking and catalog management, but its listed platforms are web and API.

Market Dojo offers a free plan and a Simple Sourcing annual licence priced at 500.00 GBP per year, with basic RFx and eAuctions, templates, Excel integration and custom fields. Consider it when those sourcing tools and a published licence price are a better fit.

Medius Contract Management is a contract-management alternative offered as an add-on to AP Essentials or AP 360 subscriptions at additional cost, with a quote required.

mySupplier is another paid option available on web.

HICX Supplier Portal uses enterprise pricing and invites buyers to contact sales for a demo.

Infilabs Employee Portal licenses modules independently, and most clients start with two or three.

Zoho Procurement has a free trial and a Premium plan at 35.00 USD per year, billed per user/month annually, with 50 requester licenses per purchased user license, basic approval workflows and basic audit trails.

Basware uses a subscription model with pricing tailored to organizational size, requirements and solution modules.

Verdict

Choose ProcurePulse if your procurement team needs controlled competitive sourcing tied to supplier checks, audit records and a contract handoff. Its main advantage is the connected sourcing workflow; its main drawback is the custom-priced, proof-of-concept buying process, so look elsewhere if you need transparent pricing or an immediate trial.
