Overview

IEX combines gifting and branded merchandise operations in a portal, with API access for teams that need it. Its four workflows—Single Send, Bulk Send, One Link and Direct Send—cover different ways of getting products to recipients. Recipient choice and branded packages support gifting programs, while campaign automation can reduce repeat coordination work.

Inventory tools include live counts, low-stock triggers, reporting and routing across multiple warehouses. Those controls matter when a team must keep campaigns supplied across locations; they are less relevant for occasional, small-scale sending. Imprint Engine says it ships to more than 180 countries, making IEX a plausible fit for globally distributed recipients.

Key features

Sending and integrations

HRIS integrations, HubSpot, Salesforce, email providers, Zapier and API access connect IEX with common business workflows. SSO integrations include Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and OneLogin. The IEX Portal page lists GDPR, SSPA, SSO/SCIM and PCI compliance; ISO 27001 is marked as coming soon.

Support and fulfillment

Support teams respond to shipping, customs or delivery requests within 24–48 hours, and users can consult an IEX Portal knowledge base. Shipping and fulfillment/handling are charged per shipment, so the portal’s operational breadth does not make delivery costs disappear. Some features may also carry scope-based fees.

Pricing

IEX has a free plan and custom pricing for its paid tiers. All plans should be assessed with shipment costs in mind: shipping and fulfillment/handling are billed per shipment, and some features may add scope-based fees.

Free: 0.00 USD per free. It includes one IEX portal seat and free campaigns for one-time or fixed use. Fulfillment and shipping are billed per shipment, so this is best for an individual testing or running limited campaigns, not a larger team.
Express: custom pricing. It includes five portal seats, 25 SKUs and one organization; extra seats cost $25/month. Its modest catalog and seat allowance suit a small operation, but growth may require paying for more seats or moving plans.
Pro: custom pricing. It raises the limits to 25 portal seats and 50 SKUs in one organization, with additional seats at $20/month and a 2% unlimited rebate on product purchases. Digital gift cards cost $5 per send. This is the more substantial single-organization option for established programs.
Enterprise: custom pricing. It offers unlimited portal seats and SKUs, three organizations included, and up to a 5% unlimited rebate on product purchases. Digital gift cards cost $5 per send. It fits organizations needing broader access and catalog capacity, though shipment charges still apply.

Platforms

IEX is offered as a web portal with API access. Imprint Engine’s pages do not describe downloadable desktop or mobile apps, so teams seeking a dedicated device app should not assume one is available.

Who it's for

Marketing, sales, people and HR, events, procurement and operations teams are the natural audience: each may need to coordinate branded merchandise or gifting. IEX is particularly suited to programs with recurring campaigns, multiple warehouses or international recipients. A one-person operation with sporadic sends may find its broader inventory and organization controls unnecessary, while per-shipment fees remain relevant at every scale.

Pros and cons

Pro: Four sending workflows accommodate one-off gifts, bulk distributions and campaign-style programs.
Pro: Live counts, low-stock triggers, reporting and multi-warehouse routing help teams manage merchandise beyond a single shipment.
Pro: Shipping to more than 180 countries supports globally distributed gifting.
Con: Fulfillment and shipping are charged per shipment, adding variable costs even on the free plan.
Con: Express and Pro cap seats, SKUs and organizations, so teams must account for expansion and seat fees.
Con: Digital gift cards cost $5 per send on Pro and Enterprise, and some features may have scope-based fees.

Verdict

Choose Imprint Engine if your team needs one portal for branded merchandise, campaign sending, inventory oversight and international shipping. Its workflow variety and stock controls are the strongest reasons to choose it; per-shipment costs, paid-tier caps and custom pricing make it less attractive for occasional gifting or buyers who need predictable total costs before committing.
